India doubles billionaires

  1. Indians are as good as anyone to take out loan. 100K each say... 1.5b people, 300M loans x 100K = 30 trillion of loans. Why do you think US shares up. Maybe because they positioned well in India and some other places...

saying that do have hesitation to buy into this story as there are some cultuarl issues.

  2. George Bush wanted to share agriculture technology with India so that India can feed 1.2 billion people. But India wanted nuclear technology.

Also the nuclear technology which Bush wanted to share with India is that of Civilian nuclear technology and not military/weaponry

You think Forbes knows it like it really is? There are 100s of billionaires in India. Things work very different in India. Dozens of politicians are Billionaires. Most of the Billionaires in India hide their money in real estates and cash.

I disagree.. India will not remain an inferior nation.. despite its misgivings. Its a 50 year old economy that has yet to see its better days.

We could say many bad things about the US at the age of 50(e.g. slaves?). Despite all that, it rose based on personal freedom, capitalism and democracy. I see those same things taking India to new heights.

As for the caste system.. It will remain a problem in the backward rural regions, but hell incest remains a problem in the backwood rural regions of the US. whats your point?

  6. With personal account deposit bank of $1500 billion in foreign reserve which have been misappropriated, an amount 13 times larger than the country's foreign debt, one needs to rethink if India is a poor country?
    http://www.merinews.com/article/is-india-poor-who-says-ask-swiss-banks/137213.shtml

According to the Swiss Banking Association report of 2006-- India topped the world with $1.45 trillion deposits in Swiss banks. Other countries were Russia $470 billion, UK $390 billion, Ukraine $100 billion and China $96 billion.

  7. India is in hotter climate, it is only reason Indian didn't revolt to its bizarre system. Food is reasonably available to most of people, people are very content to their situations, hard to motivated them to change.

Dare I say this, there is a reason why most highly industrialized(developed) countries are located in colder places, where have decent winter.
