what on earth are you talking about ? which complaints ?
Try to formulate some decent sentences in english please it's very annoying like this (and yes it's not your first language, but it's my third also ...), you don't make sence.
first options are totally different instruments from futures. the most important thing for most people is that they can do decent size on bid and ask, size quoted is often much more than actually traded.
second: the delay can be a problem for someone who is scalping futures, but I doubt this will be for anyone trading options.
third: in Germany as well as in US there are MM.

Hey bro. I know you've been involved recently with more exotic products than exchange traded index options:) but ES opts have had a dramatic spike in volume the last couple of months. (So have open outcry SP opts). Quite often now ES volume is 15k a day.

what legal issue ? What is the problem ? "to match broker legally" is not an english sentence as far as I know".
I have traded options on Eurex, I never had any legal issues.

I don't understand the problem, if there are chinese walls between the proprietary trading desk and the brokerage, i see no problem at all. I have been a mm for a firm in Europe in the past , I have however no problem with sending my personal options-orders through IB although Timber Hill is a big MM.

  6. 15K/day!? Wow, that's fantastic.

  7. Guys, I assume you understand that 15,000 options a day is nothing. This number has to be divided across all strikes and all expirations, CALLs and PUTs.
Without checking, i'm sure it's way over 100 options.
Trading in ES options, now better than ever before, is still very limited.

SPX options @CBOE are at least 10 times more liquid. I didn't bother checking the stats. This is my impression.

No one is saying ES options are a bastion of liquidity but the volume for whatever reason is 10x that of a year ago.

Options on SP futures (the CME not the CBOE SPX) are having 40k days. That is decent volume because the contract is 250x the index. But yes SPX is jamming to the tune of a quarter million plus per day at 100x index.
