When I bot, the market turned south, and when I sold the market started to head up....how I twisted and turned the market always was on top of me....and 2 minutes after I bot back the last trade at 1055.75, the market closed at 1054.25 (High 1059.50, Low 1052.5)

1.5 points profit today, it covers costs at least.

I was of course too trigger happy when buying that early, and that was of course due to missing my buy point friday morning in kind of the same set up. There was an important difference though: friday had a report and the market gapped down, today it traded down, and I should have given it more time as this usually takes a while until everyone has sold out on all awful weekend doom and gloom news. Let's see if I can get lucky and not be too badly hurt on this trade.

While I was lucky on my first trade of the day, I was even luckier on the second, and only had to take a 1.5 point loss despite the downdraft after the mid day reports came out, closing out at 1047.75, at 17.19 CET. The day ended at a profit of 1.25 points, again a day just to cover costs...

High 1055, Low 1040.25, Close 1047.25. A LOT of volatility, with 4 intraday swings of 5 points or more, whereof one was 15 points! Unfortunately, this trader was hopelessly out of sync with the market today. The patterns are showing tomorrow to have a 75% chance of up close, and I now hope for a not so strong finish in the US to set up some morning weakness to buy. A really strong US market could of course mean a morning gap up to finish off this afternoons strong close, and then test the lows; but I would prefer a not so upsidownsy market tomorrow, lest I get dizzy.

  10. Hi, I see you trade on the OMX market. I'm studying this market, could you please tell me which broker do you use?

I would also be interested in knowing any websites with info on OMX trading, in english.

And specially info about which formulas do the OMX Index and Stock options use (black&scholes or binomial).

    Many thanks in advance.
