Just a quick little observation on my part DHOHHI if I may. I find it interesting that you are so committed to helping make this world a better place, and it sounds like you know some of your stuff, but then the way you talk (write) makes me really wonder where this hatred is coming from. Perhaps you have a different online persona that you enjoy playing with sometimes, which is cool, I can understand that as its fun to be different people sometimes, but you just don't sound all that humble to me. You may very well make great contributions and be correct with much of what you say, but it just doesn't come across well to me. If you spoke like this in the real world like you do online then I doubt you would have gotten as far in life as it seems like you have gotten. So I'm trying to read some of this stuff with an open mind but your credibility I highly question because of how you write. I just don't think a person who supposedly works with kids and does so much for his community should be talking like you do.
What hatred? If you're talking my back and forth with Douche Bag, that's not hatred. When you prove 2 + 2 = 4 and someone claims that's not true because of where they live (I'm speaking of the tomato plants and 90 degrees incident) then one becomes exasperated with the person who refuses to admit they are wrong. We're all wrong at points in our lives and most people admit such. You're welcome to question my credibility. I don't brag about my volunteering. I enjoy it because math comes easy to me thanks to my Dad making us focus on it as we grew up. So I try to share with those less fortunate. I have teachers and principals who ask that I return year after year. And these are high poverty kids at Title I schools, an area I am very well versed in. Yet DB wanted to argue that area also and he didn't even know how much $$$ in Title I funding went to each state, school district, etc. in the US. I'll admit one thing ... I have no tolerance for people who shoot from the hip and present no factual data, as he does at times.
Well there was some name calling a while back like "bozo" and "dumbshit". Granted this is the P&R forum so I've been brought up to speed about how this is how this forum usually works, but I still think that if I was keeping score based on what I read here (not based on content since I don't know anything about the material about these schools), you're presenting yourself in a less than stellar fashion if your credentials are in fact true. I do think you've made some good points about the schools and you at least had links to back up some facts you presented, but I think Db made an excellent point where he said something along the lines of what is outlined in some published material isn't exactly reflecting what is happening in the school districts and followed that up with an article. At any rate, I clearly cannot argue for either side since I know nothing about the issue, but I was just wondering why you continue down this road if you know he is so wrong yet you continue the fight anyway that then just comes down to name calling. If its purely to pass the time and some name calling on an anonymous board is what you're after than say no more, I fully understand, but as an outside observer, I would tend to side with what Db has presented simply because he took the high road. Thanks for the nice reply though, I do appreciate that!

The climate is warming, though your weather may vary. High temperature anomalies outnumber low temperature anomalies
You've posted long term charts, like from the formation of the solar system, have you not? Here is NASA's latest: http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/graphs_v3/ (Now you post a chart that goes back to the formation of the solar system.)
