you are making my point. the earth has been cycling for millions of years. so far there is no science showing man made co2 causes warming.
you did not address this when I showed it to you a few days ago. I also showed you the study which shows you that co2 lags change in ocean temps by about 12 months. So would like to explain how the laggard could be responsible for the leader. Is it possible yes... but where is the data or other cycles showing it to be the case --- why haven't the thousands of papers on the subject found it. all the pro agw nutters have are failed models and speculation. [/QUOTE]
lol. "cycling" from a period with no land-plants to a period of rapid afforestation. How the fuck did your kind make it to 2014?
you seem to follow a pattern of making a non sequitor followed by an insult. I prefer logical arguments backed up by science or data then followed by the accusation "troll". Now lets get back to the point of this thread. Do you have any science showing man made co2 is causing warming? or just a bunch of failed models.?
To summarize for those of you with an IQ over 40. jem's "historical record" shows the trend lower of CO2 over the ages. >500MM years. He somehow finds that significant. The trend is solely due to the arrival of plants during the Silurian period. He often cites the absurd "statistic" that there has been no warming over the last 17Y. So yes, there was a lot of CO2 in the atmos. when the Earth was a rock with no life. Then the plants came! Some of you may have heard of photosynthesis!
1. first of all I did not cite the trend down. I was not making a trend down argument. I was showing co2 is at historically low levels. So try another strawman. 2. the point that there has been no warming for 17 .8 years is that it invalidates the models which forecast warming because co2 has been rising. now do you care to try and engage on the real argument. do you have any science showing man made co2 causes warming.
exactly the point I made. that is not a trend argument trend trend/Submit noun 1. a general direction in which something is developing or changing.
