When you have no science showing man made co2 causes warming... you post quotes about the fake consensus. While there are dozens of peer reviewed papers showing that the sun and the tides have at least a large influence on warming and cooling.
American Meteorological Society "It is clear from extensive scientific evidence that the dominant cause of the rapid change in climate of the past half century is human-induced increases in the amount of atmospheric greenhouse gases, including carbon dioxide (CO2), chlorofluorocarbons, methane, and nitrous oxide." (2012)7
you just quoted ams... just like with your other quacky quotes... the membership inside these groups is split.
American Geophysical Union "Humanâinduced climate change requires urgent action. Humanity is the major influence on the global climate change observed over the past 50 years. Rapid societal responses can significantly lessen negative outcomes." (Adopted 2003, revised and reaffirmed 2007, 2012, 2013)5
I will repeat the science. By the way it makes sense that change in ocean temps leads change in co2. as oceans warm they release co2. as air warms it can hold more water vapor and co2. "The maximum positive correlation between CO2 and temperature is found for CO2 lagging 11â12 months in relation to global sea surface temperature, 9.5-10 months to global surface air temperature, and about 9 months to global lower troposphere temperature. The correlation between changes in ocean temperatures and atmospheric CO2 is high, but do not explain all observed changes." See: http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.gloplacha.2012.08.008
Temps do not lead CO2. You're ugly. There is no relationship. You smell. You have no science. That chart is stupid and irrelevant. Like you. No one likes you. American Association for the Advancement of Science "The scientific evidence is clear: global climate change caused by human activities is occurring now, and it is a growing threat to society."
that paper is peer reviewed. and I have produced other papers showing that temps lead co2. plus you admitted it on this thread a couple of weeks ago. did you go on vacation and let one of the other paid trolls use your handle?
American Chemical Society "Comprehensive scientific assessments of our current and potential future climates clearly indicate that climate change is real, largely attributable to emissions from human activities, and potentially a very serious problem........... And jem is an idiot"
NASA used to say junk like that til the real scientists stood up and got the chief agw nutter Hansen ejected.... You think it was a coincidence that right after they ejected Hansen they came out with a study showing CO2 is a coolant and they called it a thermostat? March 28, 2012 The Honorable Charles Bolden, Jr. NASA Administrator NASA Headquarters Washington, D.C. 20546-0001 Dear Charlie, We, the undersigned, respectfully request that NASA and the Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) refrain from including unproven remarks in public releases and websites. We believe the claims by NASA and GISS, that man-made carbon dioxide is having a catastrophic impact on global climate change are not substantiated, especially when considering thousands of years of empirical data. With hundreds of well-known climate scientists and tens of thousands of other scientists publicly declaring their disbelief in the catastrophic forecasts, coming particularly from the GISS leadership, it is clear that the science is NOT settled. The unbridled advocacy of CO2 being the major cause of climate change is unbecoming of NASAâs history of making an objective assessment of all available scientific data prior to making decisions or public statements. As former NASA employees, we feel that NASAâs advocacy of an extreme position, prior to a thorough study of the possible overwhelming impact of natural climate drivers is inappropriate. We request that NASA refrain from including unproven and unsupported remarks in its future releases and websites on this subject. At risk is damage to the exemplary reputation of NASA, NASAâs current or former scientists and employees, and even the reputation of science itself. For additional information regarding the science behind our concern, we recommend that you contact Harrison Schmitt or Walter Cunningham, or others they can recommend to you. Thank you for considering this request. Sincerely, (Attached signatures) CC: Mr. John Grunsfeld, Associate Administrator for Science CC: Ass Mr. Chris Scolese, Director, Goddard Space Flight Center Ref: Letter to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden, dated 3-26-12, regarding a request for NASA to refrain from making unsubstantiated claims that human produced CO2 is having a catastrophic impact on climate change. /s/ Jack Barneburg, Jack â JSC, Space Shuttle Structures, Engineering Directorate, 34 years /s/ Larry Bell â JSC, Mgr. The episode of Cosmos I watched last night heavily featured C.C. Patterson's fight to get leaded gasoline banned. Apparently the story is the first instance of modern science being used to deny evidence and protect profits. He fought lead and gasoline industry scientists for decades to prove what we now accept as irrefutable and common sense: lead is a toxin.
