    hat tip jem.

I thought that this should be posted in this thread as well since it is relevant and started here.

The NASA article posted by jem just blew holes through Fraud's global warming religion.

    1. GLOBAL WARMING HAS SLOWED
    2. IT IS A MYSTERY TO NASA WITH RESPECT TO WHY IT HAS SLOWED
    3. TEMP IN TOP HALF OF WORLD'S OCEANS ARE NOT CLIMBING FAST ENOUGH TO ACCOUNT FOR STALLED AIR TEMPS
    4. WARMING IN DEEP OCEAN IS NOT CAUSING SEA LEVEL RISE
    5. WATER TEMP IN DEEP OCEAN HASN'T RISEN SINCE 2005
    6. AIR TEMPERATURES HAVE STALLED

    Hey Fraudcurrents,

You and I both know that you are frantically clicking on all your bookmarks of websites and blogs funded by NextGen Climate Action to find a spin or some way to counter this. The problem is you are just a sheep and you are looking to other sheep for instructions. But, the sheep you are deferring to are waiting on their instructions.

    Fraudcurrents,

This begs the question........If you still think global warming has not slowed (lets just call it what it is "paused"), where the fuck is the heat going then!?

better not tell this to the leftist model makers.

UK Business Minister Finally Admits Carbon Taxes Are Damaging British Businesses
London, 6 October: The Global Warming Policy Forum has welcomed Vince Cable’s belated admission that the government’s climate policy is damaging British businesses.

Business secretary Vince Cable yesterday warned that Britain’s unilateral carbon tax is hampering UK businesses who are losing competitiveness to their counterparts abroad.

Of course it is not just the Carbon Floor Price that is driving up the cost of energy, but so are the ever rising subsidies for green energy which will amount to £8 billion p.a. by 2020.

Mr Cable is right to highlight the growing risk to British businesses that “are struggling against international competition because of the cost of energy.”
“At a time when most major economies are turning to cheap and abundant fossil fuels, Britain alone seems prepared to risk its economic competitiveness by adopting policies that are making energy ever more expensive,” said Dr Benny Peiser, the GWPF’s director.
“Given the manifest reluctance of major economies to follow Britain’s unilateral policy, the government should now suspend the fourth carbon budget and all post-2020 climate targets,” he added.

So? It has flattened before. A down day does not mean the bull run is over.

but your models were only made the last few years.

When they predicted warming over land... and the warming did not happen... nutters said but the heat is being hidden in the oceans. According to NASA that excuse no longer works.

The models failed.... consequently there is not science supporting the idea man made co2 causes warming.

  8. As opposed the old chart jerm has so dutifully reposted from LOLWUWT, this chart is the latest science from the most authoritative source, NOAA. Again, one can see that the rate of heat gain increased around 1999.

Jem, you should be ashamed of yourself. You lying sack of shit.

  9. Jem you are a lying sack of shit. The atmospheric models did not fail. Actually they did very well.

  10. The figure below from the 2013 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report compares the global surface warming projections made in the 1990, 1995, 2001, and 2007 IPCC reports to the temperature measurements.

[IMG]IPCC AR5 Figure 1.4. Solid lines and squares represent measured average global surface temperature changes by NASA (blue), NOAA (yellow), and the UK Hadley Centre (green). The colored shading shows the projected range of surface warming in the IPCC First Assessment Report (FAR; yellow), Second (SAR; green), Third (TAR; blue), and Fourth (AR4; red).

Since 1990, global surface temperatures have warmed at a rate of about 0.15°C per decade, within the range of model projections of about 0.10 to 0.35°C per decade. As the IPCC notes,

"global climate models generally simulate global temperatures that compare well with observations over climate timescales ... The 1990–2012 data have been shown to be consistent with the [1990 IPCC report] projections, and not consistent with zero trend from 1990 ... the trend in globally-averaged surface temperatures falls within the range of the previous IPCC projections."
