I think Gold is tough, maybe thats just me. But it is definitely tradeable. Go for it Incy. Look over gold charts all weekend. Look for correlations in how the up and down bars fall together, where do buyers or sellers rush in, are headfakes common, etc. Big thing to take note of in gold is all the big wicks.
I am honestly trading and trying here...if you continue with these type posts...I'm gone for posting here...please do stop and stick to only real trading discussion...please and thanks
I think I suffer from something that may be opposite. I get so focused on one thing that I'm oblivious to other shit that's happening around me. It was great for school, studying, video games, ...other meaningless shit LOL. I have tunnel vision. People often perceive me as being smart, but I think I'm a dumbass in a lot of ways. I used to get really frustrated and pissed off about it but age has taught me to be more accepting and just laugh at it.

Gold...something of note as to a 'bear Gold'...Gold is currently under the 5, 20, 50, 100 and YTD moving averages...a very bearish sign...only MA it is not under is the 200 day MA
Thats very interesting Incy but how are you going to use that info to your advantage? If you want to improve your trading, here is what you need to do. Post your trading rules. Before you enter any trade, think that you will have to explain this trade to the forum. You have to explain the reason for entry. What are your guidelines to manage risk. You have to explain why you exited the trade. If you can do this, I am sure that you can be a successful trader.
good input...here is my thinking, that the overall trend of Gold is simply...down. With it being down, I need to find suitable short-set-ups?...probably bouncing off resistant levels or breaking through key support levels...
