I wouldn't say 5.08 rt is 'killing' there are cheaper of course, but this cost will not make or break the account.
The way Incy is trading it will. It looks like its more than 5.08 I see commissions; $26 clearing and exchange fees; $30.34 Transaction fees; $5.00
Ok, you are right; I missed something, I just looked at total fees. Looking more like 9.05 and that would be a bit high.
actually...here are the actual per r/t total commission (includes fees) breakdown... Corn $6.82 30YR $4.32 AUS $6.40 Euro $6.40 honestly...for me, these are great roundturn...I am happy with them...I was paying $9.94 r/t until I re-adjusted some items with my brokerage....all is cool for me with the r/t commissions... ...what do some of you pay r/t for the items above???
a sincere thanks to everyone offering your insight and input...I really do appreciate it. I am very excited about trading tomorrow!
when I have weighed out where I want to be $$ from trading and considering commissions etc etc...futures always wins over options and forex...cannot really speak for stocks as only traded stocks once...a penny stock that never 'hit it'...I really like the 'security' of trading on regulated exchanges as opposed to 'non commission, we are compensated in the bid/ask spread' forex brokerages...just my personal preference. Also, futures overs the most variety of contracts to trade...but, I know I need to become a 'master of one', rather than 'acquaintance of many'...hmmm
give you an example...say you do like 25 or so QQQQ options trade in one trade...that is like $25.00 or so per 1 side!!!...and then another $25.00 on the sell side...hmmm...I am totally willing to possibly make more trading futures for a meager $6.50 r/t or so...
wheat, corn and soybeans all have sell signals out there...gonna look for a strong bearish set-up tomorrow
Can you explain how you came to this conclusion? also, what time frame on we talking here...tomorrow....weekly....longer term?
