incompetants at Ameritrade still streaming BADLY LAGGED L2

  1. Exactly.

And, if you are concerned about data-feed "latency" issues with Ameritrade's "streamer" into QuoteTracker, simply find another data-feed provider. For example, you can get DTN's "IQFeed" piped into QuoteTracker for <$100 per month, and still clear the trades thru your TD Ameritrade account.

The charting capability of QuoteTracker is pretty damn impressive, and I believe that they get a bit of a discount from "IQFeed" as well.

    Just an idea.

  2. The L2 lag problem seems to have finally been fixed.

  3. As I mentioned earlier, you can always use another data-feed such as DTN's "IQFeed".

If you are using in conjunction with QuoteTracker, DTN will waive the $50 initial start-up fee, and then they cut the monthly subscription fee by $20 per month.

You can literally get Nasdaq Level-II and NYSE quotes for a total of $58.00 per month.

  4. One significant issue with DTN's quote feed is that they DO NOT SUPPORT NYSE and AMEX Level-2, believe it or not.

    Something to keep in mind.
