The left has some interesting ideas, you can read them in their own words at this site that has preserved some of the colorful DemocraticUndergound commentary.

PETA is trying to get the town of Fishkill to change it's name. Apparently, the fish would be happier.

It's the end of the United States of America because Credit Card Companies are raising their minimum payments.

How appropriate that a right wing wacko like you Tgregg would show such an interest in what your left wing wacko counterparts have to say. You'all have more in common that you realize, enjoying yourself? In the meantime we have people dieing in Iarq and threats for all around the world. Put aside your childish games, time to be part of the solution not part of the problem.

    God Bless America.

Hey, thanks for your contribution. A little too coherent, but an excellent effort.

Also, I'd like to remind our viewing audience that DailyKOS is far from lunatic fringe. Why, if you go check dnc.org, you'll see they link to that site. That's the same site where KOS thought the contractors who were killed and hung on the bridge deserved it, and said some nasty things. He later offered a lukewarm apology of sorts.

Meanwhile, if you're looking for some family entertainment, the left has you covered. So to speak.

LONDON (Reuters) - The word "fail" should be banned from use in British classrooms and replaced with the phrase "deferred success" to avoid demoralizing pupils, a group of teachers has proposed.

Members of the Professional Association of Teachers (PAT) argue that telling pupils they have failed can put them off learning for life.

A spokesman for the group said it wanted to avoid labeling children. "We recognize that children do not necessarily achieve success first time," he said.

"But I recognize that we can't just strike a word from the dictionary," he said.

The PAT said it would debate the proposal at a conference next week.

A liberal is arrested, so it must have been a frame-up by the all powerful Seattle Conservatives.

Seattle being widely regarded as a very conservative town.

  10. Senator John Kerry quotes ------

"The American spirit wears no political label. In service to others and yes, in sacrifice for our country, there are no Republicans; there are no Democrats; there are only Americans."

I think Democrats are right. We fight for the American dream, for the environment, for privacy rights, a woman's right to choose, a good public education system.
    Barbara Boxer

We as Democrats have no apologies to make to anyone.
    Richard J. Daley

The fact is that we wouldn't be in Iraq if it weren't for Democrats like Senator Kerry.
    Howard Dean

Why would we want to keep a tax cut that's failed? Why would we not want to go back to the Clinton tax code? And why would we not want to help every family more with a health-care plan like mine? Let's help average people. Let's be Democrats.
