  1. Cute. I was a little more inspired if anything by this:

  2. This site is more for entertainment, ie fishing expeditions (trolling), than anything else.

My recent one was paying interest on excess reserves would prevent reserves from being lent out. It was kind of surprising to see that no one had challenged the idea given that most of posts appear to be on some sort of automatic flag mode that must elicit a response from the republican minded trolls. (For those inclined to read up on interest on IR's, Is the interest rate on reserves holding the economy back?. I do have to say that it must be a slow period in ecoland if a blog has to make a comment on the matter.)

  3. Unfortunately you are so right. People are getting lazier and lazier and not just intellectually, but plainly physically and the latter has the negative impact on your brain as well.

That also explains, at least in part, the popularity of the Big Mike Trading forum where thinking is not very welcome and can even be dangerous. It can get you banned in no time. Drinking Kool Aid served by Big Mike and his clique of vendors who control that forum is the way to go.

This forum, ET, is not so bad. You can still talk pretty much freely here and as long as it stays that way, I will keep hanging out here and I suspect many others are here also for this very reason.

  4. Right on the money. The mind-body connection is something you don't want to ignore if you are an active trader.

I make sure to exercise regularly or at least to be physically active. I also like to spend an hour or so in the sun every day or as often as possible. Keeps you in good mood and improves your overall health as well.

I agree that ET is still a pretty decent forum, but obviously only a forum with all its shortcomings. I think it's the best of trading forums out there overall.
