Here is part of very recent your post, moron :

What does the phrase "what happens when Canada opens up" mean literally ? Look, the irony here is you live in California one of the states having problems right now, and I live in Toronto one of the better success stories in recent weeks. But you are on here preaching and insulting anybody who doesn't follow your plan if we can call it that. Then you call me crazy when my posts on this topic are far more reasonable and lucid then yours.

Give me a break. You know what, I'll agree with you on one point. Some people may be having mental health issues exasperated by the lock down. It is clear you are struggling.

    Yesterday's data :

    California 8561 cases, 150 deaths, pop 39.5M
    Sweden 352 cases, 12 deaths pop 10.2M
    Canada 267 cases, 26 deaths, pop. 37.6M

I post this to illustrate that Jem's theory that Sweden's current virus situation is better then Canada's is highly misleading. In fact, yesterday our data was better. The California data is there to again point out the huge disparity between the experience in certain US states currently and those in Canada. Jem has yet to explain that disparity. It may be that we saved at least 3000 lives with our approach versus the one in Sweden. That is material to evaluating the chosen approach. With respect to California, I can't say why this is occurring, just that the result is significant.

Canada's been gradually opening up for weeks now. If there was going to be a huge spike in cases, we'd see at least some evidence of that already imo. Time will tell. All I can say is I remain comfortable with our approach in Canada I think we are ready for the worst but hopeful the worst is in the rear view mirror.

The y axis of graphs also matter. Its important to understand that NJ still had 64 deaths yesterday, despite the pretty graph showing how much improvement was had (and it was). While Florida had 49. But Florida's graphs are so uuugly!

    No binary thinking moron...

You keep bringing Canada into this... since you are obsessed with injecting Canada into it and saying how great Canada is...

I pointed out Sweden and Canada are currently experiencing about the same results on the daily death chart. (yeah we know Sweden started off poorly before they locked down old folks homes.)

Now... why is it so interesting that Sweden is performing about the same as Canada on the daily death chart... (which is really the most important stat we have right now.... imo)

In short... (in a simplistic understanding for you)

Canada "hid" from the virus... so there is a relatively larger risk that as they fully re-open it will spread as it has in CA and Florida and other states here in the US. (please note... "relatively larger" language means relative to Sweden)

Sweden did much less hiding from the Virus... so odds are they have experienced the worst of their Covid suffering and death. (although we know that as it goes out into their less populated areas outside of stockholm there are still risks. )

(there are of course other factors which I have to eliminate for the sake of this post because you are so binary in thought.)
