GWB is such a doomer he has demonstrated he will never accept any fact, ever, if it runs contrary to his doomer narrative.

He won't accept the fact that deaths are driven down so low that you can not even tell that Covid is killing people more than would dying anyway in Sweden.

In other word Sweden's has zero excess deaths right now.

To any thinking person... that would be cause for celebration. Maybe we all need to understand what Sweden has done and consider taking the good points from their model.

Yes.. .the fact that Sweden does not appear to have "excess deaths" in the recent week is good news. You need to understand that excess deaths is merely deaths above the average level plus the COVID deaths that are not accounted as being due to COVID -- therefore is is likely that some of these excess deaths are due to COVID but not allotted to COVID as the cause of death.

once again you just make up doomer shit...
you even lie about a simple and obvious definition so as not to accept facts outside your narrative.
You could easily be a case study for psychology majors.

Instead of accepting a fact... you created a new twisted definition of
    "excess deaths" .

    2. Your definition of excess deaths is very wrong...

Excess death is not... as you say... "excess deaths is merely deaths above the average level plus the COVID deaths that are not accounted as being due to COVID"

The typical and real definition is typically defined as the difference between the observed numbers of deaths in specific time periods and expected numbers of deaths in the same time periods. Covid deaths are separated out in any way as part of the calculation.

    3. Excess deaths is...https://ourworldindata.org/excess-mortality-covid

The World Health Organization define ‘excess mortality’ as:

“Mortality above what would be expected based on the non-crisis mortality rate in the population of interest. Excess mortality is thus mortality that is attributable to the crisis conditions. It can be expressed as a rate (the difference between observed and non-crisis mortality rates), or as a total number of excess deaths.”

To calculate ‘excess mortality’ in a given period we would look at the number of people who had died over this period, and compare it to the number we would have expected to have died. In other words, it is calculated as:

    In summary...

You are very wrong again. You need to stop reflexively pretending you know more than others. You need to look things up before you speak about science or data.

Whether the deaths from Covid are being recorded 100 percent accurately or not is irrelevant to this stat and the point I made...

There are relatively so few Covid deaths going on Sweden right now... Sweden is currently experiencing its normal amount of of deaths. That is amazing and I would expect it to bump up at little in the future... but amazing none the less in context of all the doomer hate.

EU countries deciding to ban Sweden because they don't like the way Sweden made them look in front of their friends doesn't necessarily mean that Sweden is "so infected with uncontrolled Covid".

Pretty much your information merely confirms my definition of excess mortality is entirely correct.

The chart I posted clearly shows that there is not uncontrolled Covid in Sweden. He doesn't care though. He just wants Trump out.

All the other countries in Europe believe that COVID-19 is uncontrolled in Sweden which is why they closed their borders to Sweden. This EU decision has nothing to do with Trump.

    you definition was entirely wrong.

    had you stopped at ...
"excess deaths is merely deaths above the average"

    you would have been correct...

    but when you added...
"plus the COVID deaths that are not accounted as being due to COVID -- therefore is is likely that some of these excess deaths are due to COVID but not allotted to COVID as the cause of death."

you manifest your ignorance of the definition and the point of the comparison.

Your entire narrative is focused on supporting Trump while ignoring inconvenient facts that go against your personal agenda.
