Of course you do...with no limiting principle.....The left has a hard time drawing lines..
What is high level....where is the line drawn between high level and not high level....just like how many school children deaths will you tolerate to open schools without masks....Is it ok to assume risk in life choices?
If the answer is zero then life will never be the same

In a community with high Covid spread (which is nearly every county in the U.S.) -- how many days is an acceptable minimum limit to hold in-person school before the school must be closed due to being overwhelmed with Delta Covid. If not a single school system manages to last 15 days without closing schools with no masks, but every school system in your state with masks is at the 20 day mark without closing schools -- then which is the acceptable alternative for providing the best education for children - masks or no masks.

    1. First, the question I was asking is the question I actually asked... ( not your bullshit non answer.)

    2. So everyone can see what a dissembling piece of shit you are ...

you have not said if you are in favor Biden closing the southern border...

What the fuck is wrong with you? you run a fear mongering campaign every waking hour of your day... and you don't give shit that our southern border lets in hundreds of thousands of people.. and they could have covid variants?

Migrant encounters at U.S.-Mexico border are at a 21-year high
    BY JOHN GRAMLICH

The U.S. Border Patrol reported nearly 200,000 encounters with migrants along the U.S.-Mexico border in July, the highest monthly total in more than two decades.

The number of monthly encounters had fallen to 16,182 in April 2020, shortly after the coronavirus outbreak forced the closure of the southwestern border and slowed migration across much of the world. But migrant encounters have climbed sharply since then, reaching 199,777 in July, according to the latest data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the federal agency that encompasses the Border Patrol.

The July figure is the highest monthly total since March 2000 and far surpasses the peak during the last major wave of migration at the U.S.-Mexico border, which occurred in May 2019.

Once again you are confusing legal travel with illegal immigration. Why don't you stay on the subject of Biden stopping travel as per your original question.

Illegal immigrants coming into the country are not legal travellers. I will note that over 80% of them are shipped back nearly immediately.

Your re-direction here is an example of your typical nonsense. Next you will be trying to blame Delta Covid spread in the U.S. on illegal immigrants -- which was already completely debunked on nonsense

You and I were very specific and talking about airline travel / border closure involving United States tourists going to Sweden / Scandinavian countries and then jem jumps into the conversation about travel to ask a question about border closure...
    • You responded correctly in assuming the conversation is about airline travel from/to Europe here in the Sweden thread considering that's what we're talking about.
jem now wants to bring another topic into this thread that has NOTHING to do with airline travel from/to Europe nor to the Scandinavian countries by American tourists...then pretending his initial question was really about illegal immigrants on the U.S. southern border.

He even ask his initial question as a response to your statement of Norway shutting its borders to U.S. tourists via quoting your Norway comment when he asked about closing borders. In fact, your Norway comment was in response to my comment about Sweden closing its border to U.S. tourists. :D

    What the fuck !!!

There are other threads about illegal immigrants crossing the U.S. southern border.

jem should be posting his question about such in those other threads so that this thread can stay on topic about Sweden and its neighboring Scandinavian countries.

Summary: Sweden and Norway are shutting their borders (temporarily) including airline travel to American tourists because Americans does not have the ability nor will to do what it takes to defeat Covid Delta Variant that's currently surging in America by those Not Vaccinated.

Closing the borders implies legal travel. I will note our borders are already legally closed to illegal immigrants. They keep coming however but over 80% of the apprehended are immediately shipped back.

I have already made my stance on illegal immigrants with many points very clear -- in many previous points. My first point is firmly closing the border -- building a "wall" consisting of physical barriers, electronic surveillance, and improved manpower to stop illegal crossings.

Here's the missing image of the conversation in which gwb replied to my conversation about Sweden shutting its doors to American tourists due to the problem of those Not Vaccinated that may want to travel to Sweden in reality it hurts all American (vaccinated and not vaccinated) that wants to travel to Sweden.

Gwb then responds to my post about Norway doing the same and then jem jumps in the conversation with a question about closing borders. A question as you can see that has NOTHING to do with the U.S. southern border.

jem then flings profanity lace insults at Gwb to pretend that Gwb was avoiding his initial question when in reality he answer the question considering the conversation was about Sweden / Norway / Airline Travel.

Now here's jem's profanity lace reply to the above.

Stupid debates can easily be avoided when people stay on topic instead of hijacking threads with conversations from another thread...

Also, it prevents them from embarrassing themselves.

Now back on topic...Denmark is taking a more relax approach towards American tourists. Yet, those Not Vaccinated must have a "worthy purpose" to enter Denmark. :D

    ---------

    Denmark

Effective Sept. 4, Denmark allows fully vaccinated U.S. travelers for any reason. They are exempt from testing and quarantine requirements once they arrive, according to the U.S. Embassy in Denmark. Those who are unvaccinated can visit only if they have an accepted “worthy purpose” and a negative coronavirus test.
