As noted earlier --- the information from Sweden is delayed. I will merely wait three weeks, wait for the data to be updated... then respond.

And there it is. Can't use the data because "its not right". You didn't wait for the data to be updated before making the foolish claim.

The WHO shows no such issue with Sweden's data, nor does it note anything.

    Your claim was bullshit.

Even IF the data is indeed delayed and we wouldn't know for three weeks, how can you possibly make the claim that Sweden has more in a week than its neighbors have in a month? Do you have a crystal ball? Time machine?

Maybe you use your Magic 8 Ball when you make your forecasts? If so, that would explain a lot.

Internet's 'Hide the Pain Harold' accidentally used by Swedish COVID-19 vaccine website

STOCKHOLM: A health authority in Sweden unwittingly used "Hide the Pain Harold" - one of the Internet's most-recognised figures - as the face of its COVID-19 vaccination booking website, officials said on Tuesday (Mar 30) evening, adding the image had now been removed.

Harold is actually Hungarian man Andras Arato, who in 2008 and 2009 posed as a model for stock photographs. Those images of a grey-bearded man wearing a smile but with sad, pained eyes became an Internet meme dubbed "Hide the Pain Harold" as they were shared and reused with new, humorous captions by millions online.

"Harold" briefly fronted the website where Stockholm city residents can book their COVID-19 vaccines after the city used a stock photo of Arato from a photo agency database.

"We did not know it was a meme until we noticed this. But of course, we have made sure to change the picture now," Hanna Fellenius, a spokeswoman for Stockholm Region told Reuters.

It took Arato nine years to discover he was one of the Internet's most recognisable faces, but since then he used his celebrity to commercial advantage: Fronting advertising campaigns for German retailer Otto and giving a TED talk.

The regional agency, responsible for the health of around one million Stockholm residents, said it believed the gaffe had not hurt public confidence in vaccines.

"Our assessment is that the publication for a few hours of an image that is not in itself misleading or inappropriate does not damage confidence in the COVID-19 vaccinations."

Why don't you just read the word "Lockdown" in the headline of the article. Certainly the rest of the world and the Swedes are calling it a "lockdown".

    I did moron..
The problem is you select headlines based on lies, exaggeration and misdirection.

Inside the article Swedes referred to restrictions not lockdowns.
Your author used the word lockdown in a very suspect manner.

By the way...Tegnall got it correct again.

"To shut more hasn't been shown to be a success story," Anders Tegnell said in an interview in the daily Dagens Nyheter.

Amusing you want to draw a line now over what is a lockdown and what is just a set of restrictions. Can you tell us what exact set of restrictions equals a lockdown.

Of course, this is all in an environment now where politicians are trying to find other terms to use rather than "lockdown" since "lockdown" sounds so harsh..... leading to all sorts of fancy words being used to effectively describe what formerly was known as a "lockdown".

Amusing you lie about my drawing a line now when its the same thing have been stating to you for over a year. you lying moron.

I have been pushing for letting the healthy live without lockdown and protecting the high risk "lockdowns" if necessary since before dePrado came out with his first paper on this...
you have consistently stated we can't lockdown the high risk or even protect them better.
Since you are a lying propagandist... I will give you a shorted version of the dePrado study... which we discussed about a year ago and I have been pushing every since.

Here is another... and remember the lockdown for data collection was for about 3 weeks. (we discussed this a year ago.)

    https://poseidon01.ssrn.com/deliver...26103108031094103107092003&EXT=pdf&INDEX=TRUE

"The K-SEIR model shows that targeted lockdowns (on high-risk populations) are more likely to achieve the triple goal of minimizing loss of live, minimizing loss of livelihood, and avoiding a depletion of medical resources. In countries with a well-developed healthcare system and population willingly abiding by sensible rules and regulations, the sheltering-in-place of the entire community is excessive and harmful when considered holistically. A brief universal lockdown is warranted while we collect data regarding mortality and transmissibility, followed by targeted lockdowns of the high-risk population. Low-risk population should continue to practice sensible personal protection measures.

Given the actual nature of the disease we are battling with - COVID-19 - it is very likely that schoolsíopening does not increase the risk of over-capacity of the health system or the chance for a second wave. At the same time, it is imperative to seal nursing homes as best as possible to avoid a high infection and mortality rate among their clients. It is also essential to implement sensible pandemic response measures, such as wearing face masks, following strict hygiene routine, practicing social distancing, paid-for self-quarantine, testing, and tracking. Frequent testing of essential workers has to be a priority. It is also helpful to issue a clean bill of health to the individuals who have recovered from the virus and developed antibodies, provided that the virus immunity is real. Governments must learn from the mistakes of COVID-19 management, and design targeted lockdowns in anticipation of COVID-20."

Let's be very clear the nonsense you have advocated such as "no lockdowns", "only lockdown the at-risk", "natural herd immunity" and the "Great Barrington Declaration" have conclusively proven to be dismal failures.. All of these failed ideas which cost many lives have been buried in the dustbin of history.
