Sweden: 200 people have tested positive for COVID-19 post- two dose vaccine By NewsDesk @infectiousdiseasenews A report from the Swedish Public Health Agency shows that of the several hundred thousand people in Sweden who have received two COVID-19 vaccine doses and about 200 people have so far tested positive for COVID-19. Image by Wilfried Pohnke from Pixabay The Swedish Public Health Agency continuously monitors the number of so-called breakthrough infections in Sweden, ie cases where people have tested positive for covid-19 after they have been vaccinated. This is to gain more knowledge about the effectiveness of vaccinations in the population. In total, more than one million people in Sweden have been vaccinated with one dose and about 430,000 people with two doses. About 6,000 people have so far been found to have covid-19 after their first vaccine dose. Almost 4,000 of them tested positive within the first two weeks after the first dose, ie before the body had time to build up a protection. Only about 200 people were found to have been infected with covid-19 more than two weeks after the second dose. This corresponds to 0.07 percent of the total number of covid-19 cases since the turn of the year, and 0.06 percent of all those vaccinated with two doses. The fact that so few people are infected after receiving their second vaccine dose indicates that the vaccines used against COVID-19 in Sweden work well, says state epidemiologist Anders Tegnell. http://outbreaknewstoday.com/sweden...ive-for-covid-19-post-two-dose-vaccine-34510/ --------- wrbtrader
Sweden, last 7 days, deaths by COVID according to Worldometers: 28 if I counted correctly. Please feel free to verify. Finland, last month, deaths by COVID according to Worlometers: 86 if I counted correctly. Please feel free to verify. Norway, last month, deaths by COVID according to Worlometers: 38 if I counted correctly. Please feel free to verify. Looks like we've got another GWB lie.
The number of 28 was simply from Saturday through Monday and reported on Tuesday. It is not the total of 7 days. Go to the daily reports from Reuters to get a proper count over the seven day period.
Says 7 days. If you've got a better source to use, link to the source and tell me why you believe it to be better. And no, just because it supports your narrative isn't a valid reason.
Seeing that the data for deaths in Sweden is not up to date on the Worldometers site for recent days (they even have a warning about this) -- you don't have a source either. The best source is the reports in Sweden from the government which come out on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday each week. These reports provide the number of new deaths reported on that day but do not allocate them by date.
I have a source. I gave it to you. You don't like the source, yet don't have a better one. So you made up the data, as I said.
Swedish government postpones easing of some COVID restrictions https://www.reuters.com/article/hea...sing-of-some-covid-restrictions-idUSS3N2HB01U Sweden’s government will postpone a planned easing of some COVID restrictions until at least May 3 amid a severe third wave of the virus, Prime Minister Stefan Lofven said on Wednesday. “The situation is serious,” Lofven said at a news conference. “The spread of infection is at a high level.” The health agency on Tuesday asked the government to postpone the previously announced easing, which included raising the limit on the number of visitors to amusement parks, concerts and football matches.
You are just trolling for your own amusement because the Swedish COVID death reporting cycle has been discussed many times before including Worldmeters and their sourcing & timing of Swedish COVID data with the delay. Let's take a look at the Reuters reports on registered COVID deaths in Sweden over the past 7 days (from yesterday). On Wednesday (3/24) Sweden registers 7,649 new COVID-19 cases, 42 deaths on Wednesday https://www.reuters.com/article/hea...19-cases-42-deaths-on-wednesday-idUSL8N2LM4B4 On Thursday (3/25) Sweden registers 7,706 new COVID-19 cases, 16 deaths on Thursday https://www.reuters.com/article/hea...-19-cases-16-deaths-on-thursday-idUSL8N2LN4CN On Friday (3/26) Sweden registers 6,328 new COVID-19 cases, 29 deaths on Friday https://www.reuters.com/article/hea...id-19-cases-29-deaths-on-friday-idUSL8N2LO3XJ On Tuesday (3/30) over the weekend & Monday Sweden reports 16,427 new COVID-19 cases, 28 deaths since Friday https://www.reuters.com/article/hea...19-cases-28-deaths-since-friday-idUSL8N2LS45G Total = 115 registered COVID deaths in Sweden over the 7 day period. Your information for Finland and Norway from Worldmeters. Finland, last month, deaths by COVID according to Worlometers: 86 if I counted correctly. Please feel free to verify. Norway, last month, deaths by COVID according to Worlometers: 38 if I counted correctly.
I'm not trolling for my own amusement. You make up shit all the time, I'm trying to ascertain if this is one of those circumstances or whether you are correct. My interest is purely academic. You've shown articles that add up to the 7 day period from Reuters. Where is your source that shows the amount of deaths that allowed you to make the following statement:
