Essentially, the people nearby the ethnic communities had great worries about the public awareness of Covid-19 within the ethnic communities. At that time, I came across only one other article by a foreign news agency (not by Swedish health officials). This statement stands out to me from the article you posted... Education is key in the fight against the infection / spread / hospitalization / deaths involving Covid-19. If the government intentional does not educate their citizens or residents...even the illegal immigrants about the threat from Covid-19... It's an invitation to poor performance in the fight to control an infection. The solution then makes a country very dependent upon development of a vaccine to save the day while they try to give the illusion that Sweden is the place to be during a Pandemic. wrbtrader
Thanks for confirming that Sweden has more deaths per million than the EU. Proper science requires comparing Sweden to its direct neighbors; Finland and Norway. Why don't you look at a comparison of COVID deaths in these neighboring countries. Oh, Sweden is 10 times worse than its neighbors - well that's how science works.

Maybe Sweden will catch up to Denmark, Finland and Norway ? Most likely not because those countries have more people wearing Face Masks, Hand Washing and Social Distancing. Denmark for awhile...started catching up to Sweden. In fact, Denmark were doubting their shutdown because Sweden did not shutdown. What changed in Denmark to reverse course very fast from the January disaster ? They made Face Mask wearing mandatory (the prior month) for all indoor public places but started to enforce the face mask wearing and educating their citizens about its importance along with more restrictions without another lockdown. "Jem" has lost his mind and seems awfully upset that some of us blocked him. Beyond "Buy1Sell2" and "Turkeyd", he has to be the third worst poster concerning Covid on this site. It's hard to be wrong about almost everything you post but he's succeeded for almost a year running now. He's still going on about Canada while his beloved San Diego County was running 5 times the rate of Ontario last time I looked. Sweden obviously is a complete failure concerning Covid yet some of these jokers still think they were a success. The goal posts keep bending as they try to pretend they were right about something despite a world a data that says otherwise. Concerning San Diego County, the only reason I looked at the numbers is I know someone who lives there. Who among us thought Covid numbers might drop 2-6 weeks after new restrictions were put in place ? A lot of us.
