Wow...only 1.47% of the population. Sweden and all countries need to get to 10% vaccination to see a dramatic impact in the infections, hospitalizations and deaths from Covid-19. I think the Prime Minister of Sweden keeps repeating this fact is to prepare his citizens what will be done next and to ensure a law will be accepted for a lockdown. By the way, the countries that have been outperforming Sweden each and every month...New Zealand, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea... They have not started a Covid-19 program either because they don't need to or countries that have been performing very well in their performance are last on the list to receive vaccines from the vaccine makers. I will point out that New Zealand's politicians recently outlined that they are not in desperate haste to get vaccines since the country is doing so well. While New Zealand certainly wants to get its vaccine program moving -- the problem is not a crisis. This may be a good time to mention that New Zealand has committed to vaccinating neighboring nations at no cost. Vaccinations ins New Zealand will start in the second quarter with the majority of vaccinations occurring in the second half of 2021.
