You tried to claim over and over again that lockdowns have suicide attempts exploding in 2020.

Let's take a look at reality -- There has been no increase in suicides in first world countries in 2020. You are just shoveling nonsense again.

Let's take a look at a few articles and papers with facts and figures.

Trends in suicide during the covid-19 pandemic
    https://www.bmj.com/content/371/bmj.m4352
"Nevertheless, a reasonably consistent picture is beginning to emerge from high income countries. Reports suggest either no rise in suicide rates (Massachusetts, USA11; Victoria, Australia13; England14) or a fall (Japan,9 Norway15) in the early months of the pandemic."

Suicide rates during the pandemic remained unchanged. Here’s what we can learn from that.
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/10/21/suicide-rates-pandemic-unchanged/

There's no data to back claim of 'skyrocketing' suicides during shutdown

    https://www.politifact.com/factchec...-no-data-back-claim-skyrocketing-suicides-du/

As a further note the rate of teen suicide increase slowed in 2020. Teen suicides have been increasing each year over a decade -- the rate of increase slowed down. From a big picture perspective after increasing over a decade, suicides in the U.S. decreased in 2019. When a final accounting is made for 2020 this trend of suicide decreases is likely to continue or remain unchanged.

The final accounting of death toll is not even completed yet.
The 2020 total does not even include all the dates from 2020 yet. The expected final figure may well be over 100,000 according to medical experts.

This is a very significant event in Swedish history and far worse than any other pandemic to hit the country during the past 200 years.

Nope. The pandemic was a non event.
No masks, no lockdowns, limited social distancing...and the numbers are only slightly higher than average ... all while considering the record LOW deaths in 2019...there was a lot of ‘dry tinder’ who would die at the sight of a disease that overwhelmingly kills old and sick people.

Sweden is the Model - CONFIRMED.

The COVID deaths in Sweden per million is much higher than their direct neighbors and their economy tanked just as bad. As noted in this thread -- the government of Sweden has stated their COVID policy was a complete failure and has now instituted nationwide lockowns and restrictions.

The deaths is all that matter.
    Non event.
They didn’t take virtually any precautions and they have virtually no change in annual deaths.
    Amazing.
Your entire mask mandate and lockdown strategy has blown up in your face with this perfect example of how to handle a non-pandemic.

Highest deaths and worst economic performance in Swedish history...... and now the country is implementing lockdowns. Hard to make a case that this is an example of success. Both the Swedish Prime Minister and King came separately on T.V. to state the COVID response has been a complete failure.

Good luck --- when the statistics during the first lockdown and for the entire year actually demonstrate the rate of children's suicides in 2020 actually slowed from previous years.... and certainly did not Skyrocket.

Yes, there were plenty of alarmist articles from the time..... from a national level of statistics none of them have proven out to be true.

Minimal increase in deaths and probably negligible when consideration population increase and low deaths from 2019.
Masks, lockdowns are failed policies and this proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt.
How come 3% of Sweden didn’t die yet? or even 0.6%? Or even 15% of that?
    Non-Pandemic.

alarmist..... you using that word ... is comedy... genius.

you are taking a pandemic which kills the sick at about a 2% clip and arguing to shut down the world and destroy the lives of kids and closed down people's busineses.

And when I suggest we do a better job of locking down the high risk..
You and your sycophant morons here say it can't be done.
    Morons... all.

Just yesterday.. there were articles stating this is endemic and will go on forever.
And selfish sobs like you will will be pushing lockdown forever instead of protecting the high risk.
