The daily cases and deaths have been posted for numerous European countries in the past. Sweden is still at the peak of poor performance.

Tell us again how Sweden is performing compared to its direct neighbors, Finland and Norway. Th answer is Sweden is performing so poorly that its neighbors need to provide medical aid.

There's only two comparisons for Sweden that's appropriate...

    A) Sweden versus its Scandinavian neighbors

    B) Sweden (no lockdown no face masks) versus Others (no lockdown with mandate face mask wearing)...example Japan, Taiwan or South Korea although New Zealand lifted its mandate for face masks...I think late September.

I don't like comparing countries that lockdown to countries that did not lockdown...just too many variables involved to determine the real problem if all involved have increasing infections, increasing hospitalizations and increasing deaths.

There's a few countries I don't mention that did "lockdown" and performing much better with their Covid-19 statistics than Sweden but I do not then say that lockdown works because its really a manipulating comparison.

Instead, only one variable determines if lockdowns are successful...flattening of the curve of infections / hospitalizations / deaths...nothing else. After that, it then falls upon the re-opening process to maintain that flatten curve.
    • If the Covid-19 numbers begin increasing again during/after the re-opening...the re-opening has failed. Don't need to be a rocket science to understand such an obvious statistic.
By the way, I notice France current new lockdown or new heavy restrictions are causing a decline in the infections, hospitalizations and deaths. Yet, that does not imply that lockdowns work because its just a decline but not yet a flattening of the curve.

Yeah including fine countries such as San Marino and Andorra which have such small population that if a couple people die then they are near the top of the list in deaths per million.
