Looks like Sweden is at an inflection point with respect to infections...

Last time around it took about this long for the herd immunity - or warmer weather to kick in around the world...

Sweden's results sort of challenged the idea that govt restrictions did much...
(IMO the crests and fall off were probably caused (mostly) by immunity, warmer weather and distancing but its hard to say what and where and how much. There should be little doubt the densely populated hard hit areas saw some immunity.)

This time we have a larger outbreak and its winter (with its cooler drier air
being probably being more conducive to spread) (in many parts of the world)

It will be interesting to see what the data presents to us going forward.
Hopefully... we will be seeing the crest soon in many parts of the world.
That is not a prediction... it is a hope... for you childish haters and fear mongers.

  2. I will say what I said the other day since we all are in the watching mode.

The first two phases of the Spanish flu epidemic eerily tracked the first two phases of the covid epidemic. The spanish flu's first phase ramped up in or by March and the second phase came in September and was much worse. Roughly what we have seen with covid.

Where things are projected to diverge though is that "the experts" predict that winter will bring a third phase for covid which will allegedly be much worse for covid, catastrophic by some projections. However, the spanish flu similarly had a third wave into winter but it was much weaker than the first two and ended out being the last one.

Don't know. Hard to know when you are peaking or when you are just gearing up for the next leg. A bit like trading you could say.

Thank you for your posting----It just hasn't been a major issue in The US.----Gummint response however has been a massive issue and intrusion. ---It appears to be by design.

What complete nonsense you push... Sweden is not at an inflection point in respect to infections. They are at a peak in infections which is continuing to rise. There is no fall off being caused by "immunity". You are pushing absurdity, not facts.

Sweden is now locking down with restriction; their "natural herd immunity" was a complete failure. The Swedish government has stated it has been a failure and is now aligning themselves with the best public health practices.

As the US conservative plan for Covid, its worse than Jem's idea though both "magic will happen" strategies.

Look at the chart... moron... with respect to daily new inflections...

We have not had a new high in a few weeks.

    in trading terms...

could be a top is in place... or it could just be a consolidation..
hence the reason I called it an inflection point.

Are you missing the notes that worldmeters is not up to date.

Go see the ourworldindata chart above for data which is closer to being up-to-date.

You are truly working with a insufficient understanding of what you read.
In short, I am saying your fear limits your comprehension to moron levels.

Here is the official Swedish website.
Infections per day have topped there as well.
The graph mirrors the worldometer graph.

Who said that worldometers infections data is not up to date for Sweden.
Did you just make that shit up too...?

Again.. we are talking infections per day now...
Please learn to think more accurately.
