I will bide my time and wait.... and will be happy to compare the results on the official Swedish government website once 2020 totals are finalized and posted. You seem to be getting ahead of yourself when you are making claims based on only 10 months of data out of a 12 month year.
I'm not making any claims whatsoever apart from the claim that the data presented, is accurate. I'm not saying that it will be better or worse. The pace certainly makes it appear that it will be better, but I cannot say because the pace can change from any number of variables of which I have no ability to predict. That is the difference between me and you. When I state something, I clearly differentiate between what is my belief, and what is fact. You just claim everything is fact (when it isn't necessarily). You told Laces that his "assertions were nonsensical drivel". This is a really dumbass thing to say when you don't know whether it is correct or not. Instead, try the approach of "can you show me where you get that data?" like I do with you. This way you don't have to eat crow so much.
Let's walk through some basic math... over the past decade Sweden has approximately 90,000 deaths per year. This is 7,500 per month. Sweden has had 84,000 deaths this year so far. The last two months of the year are not in the total yet. This is an additional 15,000 deaths on top of the 84,000 will be an estimated total of 99,000 deaths for 2020 which will be a record total.
Sure, if the deaths were linear. They aren't. Your numbers might work out, or they might not. But again, this isn't the point. You're clinging on this as if it was the point of the conversation. The point of the conversation was that you called Laces' numbers bullshit. When it was you who was full of shit. The only reason you are able to perform this "basic math" is because I called you out on it and showed you the data was real. 24 hours ago, you didn't believe it.
Lace's numbers are bullshiat.... he is trying to make a political talking point comparison on incomplete data for a time period. Something no decent statistician would ever do.
Where did I mention politics?? No lockdowns no masks no major intervention...and deaths are not anything out of the ordinary...certainly not worth destroying the world over. The point is - Sweden did it right. Almost perfect. Senior homes at the beginning not so much. But everything else - perfect. And you want us to believe this is the Black Death? What is the matter with you?
Wouldn’t you saying “This is an additional 15,000 deaths on top of the 84,000 will be an estimated total of 99,000 deaths for 2020 which will be a record total.” Be considered the ultimate in statistical bullshit? and how about quoting half year totals? I mean you are slobbering all over your own statistical bullshit.
Obviously.... and it should be obvious even to people with the most simple minds..... trying to compare the total data from a time period which is not a complete yet to other time periods which are complete is not a valid comparison. Anyone doing this is pushing bullshiat by definition.
