The point would be their recent infection rates are surprisingly high for a country of their size, and like in Canada the solution is targeted restrictions. Ontario is being a little ambitious removing recent 28 day restrictions guess we'll see how that goes.

Sorry asshole. I look at data, not articles.

Your research method shows why you are a failed trader.

So the map you provided provides no information by time --- only the total number of cases. For Taiwan the total is 573 cases and 7 deaths total since the very beginning of the pandemic.

All the other data sources and articles demonstrate that Taiwan has not had a domestic case in over 200 days. Their government announced and celebrated this as well.

Let's remind you once again of reality...

Taiwan just went 200 days without a locally transmitted Covid-19 case. Here's how they did it

The only cases Taiwan has seen in the past 200+ days are a small number of imported cases from people arriving in the country -- https://focustaiwan.tw/society/202011060015

    * Sweden population around +10.2 million

    * Taiwan population around +23.7 million

    * South Korea population around +51.6 million

The commonality with the above three countries...they all used a "No Lockdown Policy". In addition, if there was problems with Covid-19...they used targeted restrictions.
    • Why did Sweden initially have more deaths and still under performing Taiwan and South Korea in Covid-19 performance ???
I know the answer to my own questions above that's so very obvious in the photo below although there are a few other reasons too.

Note: The commonality of those defending Sweden...they are Pro Trump and Conspiracy Theorists or like the message posts by Conspiracy Theorists here at Elitetrader.com

These people know the reasons for the success by Taiwan and South Korea but they'll never admit such.

Sweden's Covid-19 performance has been poor in comparison to other countries that used a "No Lockdown Policy".

Its the same reason why other countries Covid-19 performance went horribly wrong in the re-opening process...they didn't do what Taiwan and South Korea did and these countries (e.g. France, Germany, U.K., United States) are currently performing poorly.

There's a light at the end of the tunnel...rumour is that the new President of the United States will put together a new Coronavirus task force that will look very closely at what Taiwan and South Korea are doing...
    • Notice how I did not say they will look at Sweden.
I see a lot of changes via accepting the response approach of other countries even if we get a vaccine that may have low effectiveness / resistance by a large % of the population to get vaccinated.

It's one of the main reasons why the United States now have a new President that will take office on January 20th 2021. It'll take a few months to implement similar like policies as Taiwan and South Korea...I expect next Summer to be a very good summer although a lot of people have lost their lives for governments / people actions to Covid-19.

Whatever the United States does...typically Canada will follow suit although I wish Canada will lead with this in North America via using a similar like response as Taiwan and South Korea.

Keep the economy open, remove fear of going to work and back to school.

It is amazing, the article claimed Taiwan had this great success by stopping flights from mainland China and they didnt impose a strict lockdown.

I don't do work for lazy people. It is right there in the open, if you rub both of your brain cells together, maybe you can figure it out.

Let me guess, you are one of these lazy assholes who posts in the Trading Forum asking for a foolproof indicator that will help you make 100% returns year in and year out.
