You have to look at logical reasoning skills. You have none. You are a threat to the Republic and despise the Constitution.
So I agree with our President and his advisors, nearly all of Senators from both sides of the aisle, nearly all our House members from both sides of the aisle, and over 40 of our Governors from both parties that the best strategy for re-opening our country in a pandemic involves a lockdown of 60 days with a staged re-opening. To you this makes me a threat to the Republic and a person who despises the Constitution. Maybe you need to get up with all these elected representatives and let them know what you think of them.
I seriously can not believe GWB is saying Sweden destroyed its businesses. On what planet does giving you business owners a chance to stay open... going to be worse than closing them by govt edict... regardless of how many deaths have been in your county or country?
I did not originate the claim that Sweden destroyed its economy - this came directly out of the mouth of the Swedish Deputy Prime Minister. I will take her at her word.
When have the people in the government ever complained about their power increasing. The answer is never. I seem to remember a President and the overwhelming majority of members of Congress sending the country to war because they said Iraq had WMDs. How exactly did that turn out? Maybe you should take a chance to read some of the founding documents. The Constitution is there to protect the people from the government, not the government from the people. Big difference. Lets make a deal, I will take Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, and Ben Franklin, you can have Donald Trump, Nancy Pelosi, and Andrew Cuomo.
She hated the strategy so much that she went on the BBC to defend it. Have you figured out what the lockdowns were supposed to accomplish yet? https://qz.com/1842183/sweden-is-ta...proach-to-covid-19/?utm_source=YPL&yptr=yahoo Sweden’s very different approach to Covid-19 Even amidst the variation, Sweden stands out in its approach to Covid-19. The country’s primary schools have remained open. Restaurants too, though congregating at the bar is discouraged and tables are set farther apart. Those who can are encouraged to work from home, but nightclubs can operate so long as the manager ensures that people keep an arm’s length from one another. Sweden’s chief epidemiologist, Anders Tegnell, who enjoys a sort of celebrity status in the country for his unflappable calm, says the strategy seems to be working: “We might have reached a peak and we are on the plateau,” he said at a briefing on April 15. On April 26, deputy prime minister Isabella Lovin defended the strategy to the BBC: Sweden views Covid-19 as a “marathon, and not a sprint,” she said, and warned that citizens in countries with more extreme measures may tire of staying home.
really... you are going to have to provide that quote... I do not recall her saying her govt destroyed their economy but there is not way I am going to fact check on this one... you have been wrong 3 times in a row.
