Sadly most of the liberal mainsteam media is not even carrying the story about the shooting. They should be hailing this officer as a hero. It appears that he took down two terrorists with assault rifles and body armor with three shots from the pistol. The third shot only being fired when one of wounded terrorists did not obey instructions and attempted to reach into his backpack. But instead we got a host of stories talking about how evil the event organizer, Pamela Geller, is. How she is on the the SPLC hate group list with a listing of all the names the SPLC calls her (the SPLC is not even trusted by the FBI any more). A typical example is our local CBS affliate WRAL. Not a single story about the police officer. Pamela Geller is a Jew from New York. I like what she does: tries to get people to stop candy coating Islam. As a Texas resident, and I'm not alone in this, I'd rather she had her drawing contests in her own State.. People local to where she held the event were voicing their concerns beforehand. I'm glad that the Texas LEO was up to the job though.
It's interesting that we don't even know the name of this hero cop. We know the names of thugs who got shot by the cops, but a guy who heroically takes out muslim terrorist scum, his name is a secret.

Of course it was big news in the Netherlands as Geert Wilders spoke at the event. But what do you know? The event was labeled anti-islam by the mainstream-media.

Damned straight! Rather than trying to ban firearms, the government should mandate all citizens (1) carry, and (2) go to the range for practice.
