I'd like to know what the collective experience of ET has to say about the best hybrid trading approach for all market conditions. I'm thinking along the lines of combining option spreads, daytrading, pairs trading, commodity spreads etc. For example, during a downtrend, employing a vertical option spread, RUT/SPX pairs spread, daytrading during trending days, and legging into a butterfly option spread. The combinations are obviously infinite. What is your experience and wisdom on this topic? thx
