A full-page Mitt Romney campaign ad in todayâs Cedar Rapids Gazette takes the form of an open letter from 13 Iowans who say they voted for President Barack Obama in 2008 but regret their choice and wonât do so again in 2012. The letter is phrased as an apology, and lays out a case for why Romney, the Republican nominee is a better choice this time around. âMitt Romney will deliver the real recovery that President Obama has failed to bring, heâll get Americans working again, and heâll turn our economy around,â the letter says. http://blogs.desmoinesregister.com/...pporting-obama-in-2008/article?nclick_check=1
how? romney is fos. one of the main parts of his plan in energy independence in a couple of years. does anybody with a brain believe that. first of all its impossible. romney is supposed to be a market guy and he doesnt understand that the oil market is a world market? every ounce of new oil we find goes into the world supply and helps our competitors as much as it helps us. the only way we can get energy savings to give us a competitive advantage is through conservation. that goes right to our bottom line.
That's great! I do think it would have been more effective if the Romney-Ryan logo wasn't used at the top.
Facts: Obama has had 4-years to effect some kind of recovery. The Democrats had a super-majority with control of the House, Senate and Executive. They could have done whatever was needed. Most recovery legislation is being held up in the Senate by Speaker Reid.
What has yet another poll have to do with the thread topic? " 13 Iowa voters apologize for supporting Obama in 2008"
