the lefties are getting more mental day by day. CNN at least tries to pretend to have some jounalistic integrity - although it fails. NYT is a pure leftist rag, and proud of it.
Really? So putting a curb to illegal immigration, and kicking out criminals is not beneficial to america? Cutting ridiculous job killing regulations is not good for america? Lowering taxes is not good for America? Attempting to get better trade terms on deals like NAFTA is not good for America? Guess you must be one of those Obama liberals who thinks dropping off pallets of cash to radical islamic countries like Iran, is what is really good for America.
The problem with cnn is they start with an opinion/lie and treat it as fact. As long as you accept their lie they are very fair. For instance, on that network it is just a fact that a human being can't go to the doctor without the government doing it for them. So you have to accept that first before you can go on with them. They seem very intelligent as they discuss their lie as if it was fact. Nothing ever gets accomplished because the fact they base everything on is just a fantasy. Yet they treat it as real just like they were grownups.
You have to forgive the democrats, they are so fiscally illiterate they think everybody must need more money just like they do. Illegals are people too Regulations protect workers The rich need to pay more taxes These are the principles we need to make America Feel great Again. Doesn't matter what the unintended consequences are, just keep doing the same old thing until a Trump comes along then panic.
You have to understand two things, which I have unfortunately had to learn from many long years living in occupied territory, ie DC. First, liberals' lives are entirely consumed by politics. This is why they are so quick to take offense or see racism or whatever in what normal people regard as everyday interactions. With them, it is all politics all the time. Second, many, indeed most, of them are liberals because they are resentful, envious or embittered about something. They bitterly resent people who make more money than they do, unless they inherited it or are celebrities, then it seems to be ok. They are resentful of successful, well-adjusted people, particularly families, because it underscores their own failures. They try to pretend their bitterness is outrage at unfairness, inequality, etc which justifies their increasing obsession with personalizing even the tiniest disagreement. There is a distressing, indeed frightening, mob quality to liberals/democrats. Every issue is a morality play rather than an honest disagreement between reasonable people with differing priorities. The democrat base are very easy to manipulate. We saw that with Colbert's audience the other night when they cheered Comey's dismissal before being lectured that they were to be aghast at it. Of course they quickly got on message. After all, Trump is satan.
