IMUS sucks up at 1pm

  1. But don't you get it? It's not about anything but taking something away from someone. Look at today's NYTimes. Imus makes 10mm a year. He gets great publicity. I can't have that, but I'm going to take it away.

Remember the story of, I believe, the West Bank? Desert. The Jews take it over, farms, lush growth. Arabs take it back, desert.

The joke goes, Jesse Jackson says, we need to distribute all wealth equally. The White host says, "But Jesse, it'll all just end up in the same hands again." Jesse says, "I mean, every Saturday night."

Good point, the second part of the equation is stopping people from doing something. Thier power comes in the form of stopping someone from doing something they can't. ie building.

    ElCubano

I am absolutely speechless on this issue....Imagine the outrage from the black leaders had the roles been inverted...black male college students allegedly raped a white woman and then the case dropped on all kinds of bogus bull crap...wow..they would be having a field day...

Barely 12 hours after being fired from MSNBC...

6:12 AM: On Imus' radio program (no longer simulcast on MSNBC) this morning, Chris Carlin, who covers sports for the program, discussed yesterday's dismissal of charges against the Duke lacrosse players.

    (rough transcript)

DON IMUS: When will Al Sharpton be apologizing to them?

    (LAUGHTER)

CARLIN: I'm unaware of such a press conference.

    IMUS: I'll be darned...

    From Drudge.

The race divide has become bigger than ever. nice job Al, You surrepticious sack of methane. You could have stepped in, said, the man is sorry. Let's point out this isn't the proper thing to say, and educate people as to the why's and the wherefores.

Who, in their own lives, hasn't said something off hand that offended somebody? If an apology isn't good enough, what is?
