I saw that Robert Johnson, one of the richest (black) men in America, and his ex-wife were calling for Imus to be fired. Talk about hypocrisy. This guy made zillions by getting control of a cable channel, BET, through affirmative action, then used it to elevate his people by broadcasting 24/7 the very sort of gansta rap sewage that has done more to harm the black community than the KKK could in their wildest dreams. This Imus incident has just begun to fester. A lot of people out there don't give a crap about Imus, but they do resent these self-appointed black leaders who surface out of the sewer every time there is some bogus racial incident to fulminate over. Imus would win a lot of friends if he told them to go f*ck themselves. Frankly, I've had it with the ultrasensitive "black community" which no one is allowed to criticize. Their whole culture is hideously out of control and dysfunctional, but all white america is supposed to do is send more money and shut up. Screw that.
What Don Imus did was stupid and wrong. Don probably deserved to get canned. Okay..... Let's see if Les Moonves will now ban Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton, two of the biggest racists in the USA, from appearing on any CBS outlet.
"Frankly, I've had it with the ultrasensitive "black community" which no one is allowed to criticize. Their whole culture is hideously out of control and dysfunctional, but all white america is supposed to do is send more money and shut up." Hmmm, sounds ever so much like the type of talk I heard in the 60's from the rednecks when minorities were gaining some degree of lip service equality through the courts and legislation. Oh, so you are mad as Hell and not going to take it any more. Just tell me, exactly what are you going to do about it? Cracks me up that you are focusing on "their community" when we see problems in all communities, oh yes, even in the lillywhite communities...
...And Im sure Mr. Zzzzzz uses this rationalization when he is choosing a community to live in right? Why pay all that money to live in the malibu area?? You can get five times the home for 1/20th the price in S. Central??? Oh Come one..the folks in Malibu have the same problems that the hood does right?? True or false: The color of the community will play a role where you live? If you answer false, then i Have one hell of a deal for you on a 5 bedroom home on MLK blvd in Orlando.
Don't worry guys the I-Man has become a martyr and will probably be headed for Congress (just like Davy Crockett)or better yet to Satelite Radio and HBO. Keep your chin up Imus. BTW, has anyone caught Bo Dietl defending him,he would have beat Dick Morris's ass today if he would have been in the same studio. One of the Ho's (she's hot) from the View is on Hannity and Colmes ripping Imus. Colmes is defending Imus,,,WTF... wierd shit going on. Rennick out ps. the wimps at CBS couldn't even wait until his charity telethon for sick kids was over. It was supposed to finish on Friday, they raised over a half million today.
Chris Rock said it best........" Black people say the media is against them. That they are our enemies. Let me tell you, when I'm walking down a dark street, I"m not looking over my shoulder for the media............................" You can google the file. I don't want to lose my high powered media job.
False. Happy where I live, thanks anyway. Oh, and some people would rather live in a non grandiose humble home close to the Pacific ocean in coastal So Cal, than live in a gated mansion on the right-wing coast, or mid-west, etc... However, I do hope that all those who live in the swampland, bug infested, hurricane ravaged, humidity driven, red state of Florida stay where they are, and don't ever think of moving to So Cal...same goes for those living in other areas, please don't move here...
With Mr. Imus now gone from their lineup, CBS Radio and WFAN were under pressure yesterday to find someone to replace him. At least temporarily, WFAN planned to install âMike and the Mad Dog,â a sports talk show, in the morning hours that Mr. Imus had occupied, according to a company executive. But the prospect of such added responsibilities did not stop the two hosts â Mike Francesa and Christopher Russo (the âMad Dogâ) â from blistering their employer, CBS Radio, for cutting ties to Mr. Imus in the midst of the fund-raiser. âThey should know better,â Mr. Russo said on the air. âA sophomore in college handles this better.â GREAT sports guys - top of the line - but you have to be in NY metro area. Me, I'm screwed - Clear Channel station that carried Imus is running the 25 year old shit pablum soft rock that's killing this country. Hillary is heading for Rutgers on Monday. Wish Imus had survived long enough to cover that.
April 13 (Bloomberg) -- New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine may be unable to perform his duties for weeks after he was critically injured in a car wreck while heading to a meeting between fired broadcaster Don Imus and the Rutgers University women's basketball team, doctors said. Corzine, 60, underwent emergency surgery at a Camden hospital after suffering fractures to his leg and upper body when his sport utility vehicle swerved into a guardrail while trying to avoid a collision last night. The governor's driver, state trooper Robert Rusinski, suffered minor injuries, state police said. The governor ``has some severe injuries, lost a lot of blood and he has a breathing tube,'' inserted because of trauma to the chest, said Dr. Robert F. Ostrum, the orthopedic surgeon who performed the surgery, at a briefing at Cooper University Hospital following the two-hour operation. ``He has significant rehabilitation ahead of him right now.''
