talk to openecry.com (ask for Rick) - they are rather flexible about things like linking with collective2, when other brokers don't seem to interesting in trying new things.
We have decided to list 'mini' contracts for our SPY, IWM and QQQQ ETF futures. Currently we list these products with a 1000 multiplier and the second week of June we will be bringing up the above products with a 100 multiplier. Best
I'm excited about futures on ETFs but the volume is anaemic. A few questions for OneChicago Apart from IB what other platforms or FCMS grant access to the product. What are your plans regarding these two issues. Can you provide a list of brokers apart from IB where one can trade the platform? Do you have active LMMs in each of the ETF futures? Are ETF futures treated as Section 1256 contrcats with the 60/40 tax treatment or are they treated as SSF with 100% short-term capital gains tax treatment? Thanks in advance for your responses.
A list of brokers can be found at: http://www.onechicago.com/?page_id=45 In addition to that list all brokers and FCMs who either have connectivity to the CBOE or to Globex will also have access to OneChicago. You should ask. SSF are the only future in America that does not have Sec 1256 treatment. All transactions are short term. We do have market-makers in the DIA, SPY, QQQQ, IWM, XLE, XLF. There are a number of our newer sub-indexes that do not have market-makers supporting the product but we have expectations that this will change shortly. Best.
Just a note that OneChicago will be listing for trading as of tomorrow 'mini' contracts on the QQQQ, IWM and SPY ETFs. As mentioned in past posts we currently list the contracts with a 1000 multiplier which some of you felt was too big. Accordingly these smaller contracts might be a better fit. Best

Thanks.
That is corrrect. OneChicago has listed and is now trading both the 1000 and the 100 multiplier contracts on the SPY, QQQQ and IWM ETFs. The symbols for the 100 multiplier contract have an 'm' added to the symbol: spym, qqqm, iwmm. Best
qqqm or qqqqm? And what is the average qqqm (or qqqqm) volume? Where (URL) I have find qqqm average or daily volume? Thanks for advise.
NQ expires every 3 months. How about QQQM? Does it expire every 3 months as well? or otherwise? Thanks for advise.
I don't know how all the front end systems handle it but it should be QQQQm. We brought the mini contracts up last week so volumes have been low to date. You can find daily figures on the OneChicago website: http://www.onechicago.com/?page_id=10 OneChicago trades both quarterly and serial contracts. Listed for trading today on the QQQQ, SPY, IWM, DIA etal will be June, July, Sep and Dec contracts. Best
