Import Ascii Data Into Tradestation

    Does anyone know how to import ascii data into
    Global-server ?

    well.. you can not.
    As far as I know TS only allows using ascii files (as third party). The global server is locked out, no importing possible anymore (the menus are disabled).

    I guess this was in a move to push their historybank service. And now with Tradestation.com live, TS is not maintained anymore.

    Dan,

    what version do you have? I now use Tradestation2000i and if you right click on the symbol in Globalserver, and go to Import Data, I can import the following formats:
    Aiq, ASCII, Computrac, CSI, Bridge, Metastock, Dial Data, Tick Data... plus .omz

    I doubt it. what version do you have ?

    Yes it works. I just did it to test.

    2000i version.

    I use Tradestation2000i ,when i click right on
    the symbol in Globalserver, and go to Import Data, I can import the following formats:
    Aiq, ASCII, etc.... but when i try to import data format ascii in one minutes ,the global server import data in day format!!!
