Impeachment hearings

Discussion in 'Politics' started by Wallet, Nov 13, 2019.

  1. This is your interpretation of the fact that Burisma paid the Bidens millions of dollars? I say the bidens because a good bit of it was routed through offshore accounts to disguise its origin.

Maybe there is some heroic Corn Pop way to view this, but it is in the alternative Christine Blasey Ford universe, where you just make shit up and people stand up and cheer.

Whatever our differences, surely all Americans of good faith want these hearings to end so that President Vindman can get back to work!

Ha ha. Nunes is asking the wrong people, the wrong question. No one is accused of Bribery but the President, and no one asked the President or anyone else to Bribe Zelensky. It was the President's idea! And he is the one who said, "I need a favor though."

When the President said, during his campaign, that the U.S. might recognize Crimea as belonging to Russia and licked not only Putin's boots but his ass as well, the Ukrainians, who were at war with Russia, decided that maybe The Donald was not their friend and started writing some newspaper columns and such that weren't exactly complimentary. Then the President told Mulvaney not to release the money Congress appropriated for Javelins. And Then the President decided that the Ukrainians should demonstrate their love for him by cooking up a phoney investigation of the Bidens and announcing it publicly. He wasn't going to give them another dime until they publicly sucked up to him, and maybe not even then. Today we learned that had the Congress and Public not learned of the President's skulduggery and forced the President to release the Javelin money, it is likely they would not have got the money at all. At least not for many months. They were only two weeks away from catastrophe when the President, having been found out, was forced to release the funds. Ukrainians don't like the Donald. Shows very good judgement on their part, I would say.

Now just to illustrate the President's mental acuteness, or lack thereof, The Pres is going around saying it wasn't the Russians that interfered with the 2016 election, it was the Ukrainians. It's established fact that the Russian 2016 election disinformation campaign was heavily slanted in the President's favor and against Hillary. On the other hand, the Ukrainians said nice things about Hillary but hate Trump, who loves the Russians and their money. Looks like Trumps newest conspiracy theory is going to be a hard sell.

The SOLE thing today's testimony established is that one can be a member of the Deep State without being especially. . . .deep.

Wow, Nunes essentially took a 13 minute dump on the entire proceedings, and then wiped himself with Schiff's handkerchief.

So much for the narrative from our liberal posters that the witnesses are not coached on what and what not to say.

“I have no knowledge of the whistleblower’s identity but don’t ask me who I leaked info to.
