Not even bothering with the details of Fart Spurs taking a mobile call from Ukraine in the restaurant knowing Russia was listening.. Oh but Hillary's emails.. bla bla

US diplomat in Kiev said he's 'never seen anything' like Trump-Sondland call in restaurant

A diplomat at the US embassy in Ukraine told lawmakers last week he'd "never seen anything" like the call Gordon Sondland placed to President Donald Trump at a restaurant in Kiev, according to a transcript of his deposition released Monday night.

David Holmes, the political adviser at the embassy, said he was taken aback both by the conversation he overheard and the woeful lack of operational security demonstrated by Sondland, the US ambassador to the European Union.

"This was an extremely distinctive experience in my foreign service career," Holmes said. "I've never seen anything like this, someone calling the President from a mobile phone at a restaurant, and then having a conversation of this level of candor, colorful language. There's just so much about the call that was so remarkable that I remember it vividly."

Holmes also provided lawmakers with more details about what happened after the US security aid money was released on September 11, saying there was a belief that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was going to follow through with a CNN interview to announce the investigations once the money was unfrozen.

"We worried that the hold was lifted after Zelensky potentially gave a commitment to do the interview," Holmes said.

"So you were concerned that Zelensky had already made the commitment in order to get the aid, get the meeting," asked House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff, a Democrat from California.

    "Yes," Holmes responded.

Oh it was Rick Perry and his top donor. Perry who has MYSTERIOUSLY resigned.

Trump refused to go to the inauguration of President Z, slated VP Pence then Pence was dropped for Perry who literally handed a list of "energy advisers" to President Z while aid was on hold.

Perry resigned "to spend more time with his lawyers" ;)

So president Z was compromised (edit: strong armed) during his inauguration by Trump's mob and can't say shit as he would be exposed in corrupt contracts starting on day one.

I have a new idea. DRAIN THE (Trump) TROUGH

Surprisingly the internet does not have a better picture of swine at a golden trough. Could be the new gold toilet.

  8. Compromised is a bit harsh, but not entirely inaccurate. I'm thinking more along the lines of extorted. He found himself between a rock and a hard place. He was extorted by those who knew what position they put him in. He did what he had to do in order to protect his country under preposterous circumstances.

Fair, though domestically he has to be under huge pressure having run as the anti-corruption guy he has a higher fall. I found some of his series with English subs, will watch it later.

  10. True, but he was faced with only bad choices. Getting US aid was critical for his country's survival and independence. And that meant dealing with Trump. (And we all know that everyone who deals with Trump gets shit-stained one way or another.) Let's hope he somehow covered his ass at his end with his government by making clear what he was doing and why he was doing it. I'm just spit-balling here, since this is way above my pay grade.
