Trump just lost 7 Republican Senators in the senate vote and the leader of the republican caucus invited prosecutors to charge him. Trump is not gaining strength. It turns out he will lose support if he shoots someone on 5th Avenue.
He's losing political strength, police slowly arresting more and more insurrectionists, more pending criminal cases (e.g. Georgia has open an investigation into election tampering) against him and as you noted plus he's lost the respect of key Republican Senators. The most damage not discuss much...he's now a joke or late night joke to most of the world and his global creditors no longer want to do business with him (Trump organization). https://www.cnbc.com/2021/01/12/deu...ll-not-do-any-future-business-with-trump.html Simply, he didn't just fuck up his legacy...he fucked up the legacy of his children that are involved with managing the Trump Organization...all of this is not good for someone at his age and no longer with access to 24/7 doctors. The failed impeachment was the beginning...now real problems are headed his way that will most likely bankrupt him. I'm really curious to see how long Melanie will put up with the crap with him now that he's a private citizen that can be easily reached by law enforcement / state judicial prosecutors / creditors / IRS. Essentially this is the real reason why he desperately tried to hold on to the Oval Office (President)...he knew his family and him are going to get fucked after losing the protection that he had as the U.S. President. wrbtrader

there is so much fun ahead. sooner or later - one way or another - it will be game over for trump and his bs.
imagine the judge, who was also a victim of the alleged crime, and who has already stated that they would vote to convict, meeting and voting w/the jurors in any other trial?
