I just listened to McConnell’s speech and it seemed like McConnell was calling for criminal charges and civil suits to be brought against Trump for his actions related to January 6th.

Don’t forget 6 people died on January 6th, Trump can be sued in a civil case.

Donald Trump was never going to get convicted because he did not commit any high crimes nor misdemeanors. In addition, The Senate had no jurisdiction to hold a trial of a private citizen. I'll give you one thing though----Any Republicans who voted guilty did it for political reasons. ---They will discover that theirs was a horrendous political decision.

I feel like McConnell’s political triangulation gets underestimated way too much. He basically told every prosecutor and attorney it’s open season on Donald Trump.

McConnell and other Establishment Republicans are scared of Trump as they see their hold on the party slipping away. The GOP is the party of Trump and his movement for decades to come.

Let's keep the personal tone down. ----Just watch how much the party is the party of Trump as we go forward into the Midterms. I expect to hear a lot from 45 and 47 (or 48) in the near future now that the pile o' crap trial? is over.

The state criminal cases involving taxes, other possible fraud and the Georgia election case will kick off by end of next month or the month after that.

If there's going to be a civil case involving the insurrection...most likely it will be by the family of the dead police officers...that will most likely occur by summer and will be quickly settle.

Yet, if they can find video of those that specifically attacked those officers that then put them under extreme stress...resulting in a heart attack...

They'll only go after those individuals because they are low branch fruit that's easy to pluck from the tree.

By year end, Trump will be convicted of something in the criminal courts but will most likely never see a prison cell. Instead, he'll get some heavy financial fine and then after he pays off his lawyers...

He'll be broke but then there's Melanie...will she continue to stay by his side through more crap. Vegas betting lines say NO.

The Fed can also bring criminal charges. If Trump has silently pardoned himself in advance, we'll just have to let that bit of clown shit play out.

But my point is to not rule out The Fed bringing criminal charges.
