not everyone puts styling as the most important 'feature'. the mazda 6 and 626 are pieces of shit, consistently ranked below average in reliability for 10 yrs running.
If you check any vehicle purchasing survey data, you will see the NUMBER ONE influence for those who have just purchased a vehicle is STYLING. Styling is always at the top for their main selection criteria. People just do not buy cars they themselves do not think look good! 300C's did not sell like hot cakes when they came out because people thought they would be reliable......they bought up 300C's for the STYLING!
Why would anyone spend 20-25k on a new car, when you can get a 2-3 year old 50-60k (when new) car for the same price. Never buy new cars.
