Super dangerous. Conservatives showing they really don’t care about the rule of law or democracy. Biden should liquidate the conservatives on the Supreme Court. And the republicans in congress. It’s all legal.
No immunity for "private acts".. In contrast, ordering a hit on a political rival and it will not be classified as an "unofficial act" by some. He can not be prosecuted. Wow... Immunity for official actions and no immunity for unofficial acts. Cases were already delayed until "after" the election but there could be a hearing by the lower courts to determine what qualifies as an "official act" and an "unofficial act" from the charges against Trump. The bottom line...more delays beyond the current delays. On the other hand, concealing paying a porn star to be silent after fucking her...he is not immune for concealing the payment and its funding source. Thus, the 34x felony convictions will remain even on appeal. Sadly, Trump can organize a coup on the government, and order the military to take out a political rival...it's all immune...no prosecution. The same will be true for Biden. Who will be the first President to assassinate a political rival and then not be prosecuted for killing the rival ??? wrbtrader
I disagree. Attempting to illegally overturn the election results does not come within the scope of "official duties".
If these are not part of "official duties" then they can be introduced. It is up to the lower court to decide if they are within the scope of "official duties".
Yes...a dangerous precedent has been set even though the Supreme Court kicked it back down to the lower courts to determine what qualifies as an "official act" and as an "unofficial (private) act". What if President Biden was a smartass and killed off several justices that he does not agree with their ruling...will it be considered an official act in the process of doing his Presidential duties or would he be arrested/prosecuted because it would qualify as an "unofficial (personal) act" ??? What if the lower courts were smartass and defined killing Supreme Court justices as an "official act" after the Supreme Court punted the ball back down to the lower courts ??? I'm willing to bet the Supreme Court will quickly define official/unofficial acts and say that's not what we meant by giving partial immunity. Also, what if the lower courts decide that the current three remaining court cases (indictments) are not official acts...can Trump appeal the decision by the lower court for more delays ??? The delay tactic is working well for Trump but it didn't work in the Hush Money trial along with the fact that Trump was not a President of the United States when he was paying off negative news about fucking a porn star without a condom as a married man. Those 34x convicted felonies will stick with him for the rest of his life. I'm suspecting Trump is now hiring more body guards just in case Biden is a senile crazy fuck. P.S. Steve Bannon is now wishing that he was President of the United States. wrbtrader
Finally, the rule of law prevails. The idiots do not care how much monies in the tens of millions of US tax dollars they waste to try and destroy President Donald Trump. Corrupt Democrats will not rest I have no doubt. However, this makes it extra hard for them to deny President Donald Trump from running and winning on November 5, 2024 the US Presidency. Arrogant, nasty, extreme liberals and progressives foaming at the mouths with their Trump Derangement Syndrome. Good!
It doesn't matter what you think, the supreme court gave its ruling and the lower court will have very little leeway not to dismiss these charges, unless Smith can pull some last minute magic rabbit out of his hat...
