Immigration: Supreme Court likely to side with Arizona

    It seems Obama's Solicitor General is a duffus. I'm surprised the court seemed to lean toward Arizona as much as it did even with another poor showing by Verrilli.

    He's just on the wrong side, it's hard to argue a flawed, weak position.

    I always thought this decision would be more one-sided than health care debate...I just thought they would rule AGAINST the law! Won't know for sure until summer or fall.

    Maybe the court is more pissed about that Obama jab during the State of The Union speech than we thought. Payback is hell.

    Why would you think SCOTUS would rule against the law? There's nothing there that's unconstitutional...... it's just not politically beneficial for Democrats.

    Sotomayor is a member of the National Council of La Raza. I will be shocked if she votes to uphold Arizona's immigration law. After all, La Raza is one of the biggest pro-illegal immigrant lobbies in America.
