  2. No.....not tomatoes... now the price of catsup is going to go up.

And then the price of pizza is going to go up...

This could make my Bloody Mary's more expensive at the bar...

This thing could get of control fast...

This is really bothering me now...

  5. My wife thinks what with 5% of the US population unemployed,
maybe they will take the place of the illegal immigrants...

    I doubt it...:(

P.S. I was just thinking (I know, hard to imagine)... why doesn't the
US legalize marijuana, LSD, ect., like they just did in Mexico so
we can all get higher than a kite legally and just not worry so much
about this "illegal" thing. Make Everything legal!...:p

Heck, Bill Clinton used to smoke the good stuff and George Bush
used to fill his nose with the white stuff...:p

  7. Your bad, but funny :p I need to start a thread after this calms down on legalizing marijuana, what a waste of tax dollars to have weed dealers in jail. Child molesters sometimes get out sooner because of mandatory minimums.

  8. YES! Let's make everything legal!

I call dibs on all the gold in Fort Knox when burglary is legalized.

  10. Well first there was no such thing as a guest worker program. Second, they would be attracted to a locale where there seemed to be better opportunities. You have to be realistic in your assessment. You actually think that they came to America, circa 1800, to be able to earn a few bucks to send back to England?

Sometimes we have to be honest in our statements. And please don't start with the, "there were probably a few who came to just work so they could go back" position. No one did that in any sizable numbers.

Lastly, it's hard to make change so the easier route, then as well as today, would be go to America. Especially if you can make them do things the way you're used to where you come from.

And it will never get better there if they keep running from the issues. Just like they march here nationally, they should do so in Mexico. They need to be understanding and encouraging that.

The argument that they can't do so that there because it won't make a difference is lame. They should not be looking top go to America to join the ranks of under-employed, and uninsured. They need to stay and FIX MEXICO!! :)
