I'm sorry I voted for Obama

My IQ was 142 when it was tested (which wasn't long ago). I speak a handful of languages and have lived on multiple continents, getting two undergrads and an MBA. I'm not a genius, but I'm brighter than many (since you questioned it).

It's easy to say what "could have been" because no one can prove otherwise. When you sit there and tell me how it would have been had John McCain gotten elected, I think back to how "bad the economy would have been if we hadn't passed stimulus."

    Right.

I did exactly that in the primary. Ron Paul.

I'm undecided about the election. If it looks like it will be close I'll vote for the GOP candidate. Anything to help keep Obama Bin Lyin from another term. I would however prefer to vote for a third party/independent. Again if for nothing else but a protest. I'm tired of the status quo, it's destroying our country.

  3. a)Your alleged IQ does not mean shit. b)if you are truly so bright, making simple conjectures and reasoning should not be a problem. If you think the person who did not even know there was a recession and whose primary economic advisor thought the nation was full of whiners (instead of thinking the world economy was on the verge of collapse) would have been good for the economy you are wrong. If you had a doctor who missed the diagnosis of diabetes, you would not want him to be the one telling you of your options once it is progressed. Not a strict analogy but it works.

In terms of factual evidence, US Navy, far from a liberal institution, deemed John McCain NOT to be worthy of the lowest admiral rank. That should speak volumes to you.

It really is a no brainer. US would not benefit from one more war at the current moment and John McCain would have provided plenty of fireworks while being clueless on economy.

  4. Sometimes I think it's easier to fool smart people than common folk on many issues (including investing).
All someone has to do is appeal to "how special " they think they are.

  6. Obama started 1 war, which technically should be more of an operation and the cost of that war did not amount to trillions of dollars or thousands of american lives lost. This should not be construed as supporting what happened in lybia because I don't but comparing it to all time FUBAR of Iraq&Afghanistan is not reasonable.

True but I was referring mostly to Obama being "clueless on economy".

  8. Unless you're gonna be a scientist, math professor, chemist, or some medical jobs a high IQ doesn't do much more for you than the guy with just an above average IQ. In some cases it can slow a guy down, there is always something else to learn.

  10. The two party idiocy is still alive and well as evidenced by alot of the b.s. on this forum.

Your points are spot on and I suspect the chronology of events if McCain had won is just as accurate. Both parties are completely bought and paid for and it's some sort of delusional nonsense that voters spin themselves into every two or four years to think that "this time it's different".
