I can understand why people didn't want to vote for McCain. I didn't want to. I just can't understand the naïveté it would take to vote for Odumbo.
I had read about the high causality rate of pilots during the Vietnam war was to a large part do to poor planning by the brass. They would send the pilots on flight paths known to be fortified with anti aircraft missiles and that the pilots considered some of these flights as almost suicide missions. I don't know about McCain's flight skills but from what I've read the Vietnam ere pilots were a brave bunch doing a very dangerous job. I've always liked McCain, I think he is a good guy too. He screwed up in picking Palin, he knew it too but it was too late.
Too funny you have it exactly backwards as a liberal, mcVain had it wrapped up with Palin's nomination, then he quit campaigning so he could side with obama on the bailout (which 85% of the public disagreed with). So in one fell swoop he proved his claim "didn't know much about economics" and peed on 95% of the nation all making himself UNDISTIGUISABLE from odumbo.
When Bush came into Oftice, the USA was under a severe recesion, unprotected (you forgot that Clinton almost dismantle the CIA?). The Oil prices jumped from $9 dolllar to $30 dollar before Bush took office. And the USA was already on his way to collapse thanks to the Housing Reform in1995, the Repeal of the glass steagal act in 1999 and the Futures Modernization act in 2000. And by the way, Clinton didn't balance the budget, Gingritch did it.. In fact, Clinton initially opposed the welfare reform and the spending reduction proposed by Gingritch on his "pact with america". And Guess what?? Bush never blamed Clinton for anything. Not a single speech blaming Clinton. Obama is dangerous because he truly hate this nation. His past friends is just one proof, but also, obama has created the biggest division of this country since the Civil War. Class warfare, racial warfare, ideological warfare, Constitutional warfare etc. He promotes via Van Jones the Occupy Wall street, he makes the Tevor death a national racial disaster and he has been trying to dismantle the America military Machine. He is just the typical Marxist that think "divide and conquer".. BTW: Sorry for my english, its not my first language.
Oil,housing, etc had nothing to do with the unfunded Bush tax cuts,Bushs unfunded wars,Bushs unfunded medicare drug program, and Bushs massive expansion of government. Those are the programs/expenses most responsible for Bush turning CLINTON's balanced budget into a 1.2 trillion dollar deficit The 2nd part of your post is typical false fox /right wing anti Obama talking points
I thought I detailed all that quite well in the OP, but if I had to choose from your 3 options and only them, I'd have to say it was number 3 most of all.
ANY pilot carrier qualified can't be too bad. The pilots in that war were often sent on the same routes over and over. So the N Vietnamese knew where to position SAM's and AAA. In some cases they were not allowed to destroy SAM sites under construction for fear of killing Russian advisers. They had to wait until the site was operational, at much greater risk obviously. LBJ and his Sec of Defense micromanaged the pilots to death, literally. Both should have been hung for aiding the enemy.
Spot on. There was a great movie about this. I believe it was called Flight of the Avenger. Of course, we are making the same identical mistakes in afhganistna now, just on a somewhat smaller scale. It is very easy for the brass, sitting ina secure area, to draft rules of engagment that create unreasonable risks to our troops. It is all too easy for our pols to sell out our soldiers for ephemeral political concessions.
