Boy you do have it bad. LOL. Tell yourself whatever you need to keep your self esteem high. And with you it seems trying to bring others down is what makes you feel like a man.
Its just that your claim to have a high IQ is so completely ludicrous that it is no surprise that you harbor other delusions. What next? Are you an Olympic athlete as well?
1. He is not my "adversary". I am not the Green Lantern or something. 2. It's not that I "don't like what he says". I just don't think there is any value in anything he says, so I remove it from my sight. It's cleaner that way. 3. You cannot have reconciliation or even debate/discussion with someone who absolutely, positively refuses to see another point of view. While no internet discussion/debate is ever perfect, this is what I TRY to follow when I discuss topics with people. If a person does nothing but troll (and does it always and consistently) I remove them from the pool of individuals I might debate with. The built in function for this is the ignore feature. I honestly don't care if you think that's a sign of weakness, masculinity or whether I have red hair and like tulips.
Referring to yourself as having high IQ and then using "your" when you should be using "you're" is rather...well, telling.
No but in my younger days I was damn good at ping pong not Chinese good but Fire department good. Why don't you go now and continue with your name calling and insults. You have some emotional problems 377, but you know that already don't you.
Anyway, this was a good thread but these guys need to divert from the subject because they can't counter the premise.
If you have any knowledge of IQ you will know people have different areas where they do better than others. My weakness is language and most of the standard tests are slanted toward analytical IQ. There are also gifted musical people who would score low on the test but in their field they are gifted. See even you can learn something new.
You are very dense. John McCain had not substantive commands assignments in his Naval career. Nobody was going to entrust John McCain even with a destroyer. Hell, he was never even an XO or an any ship whatsoever. Naval Aviator is a path that feeds into being CO of an aircraft carrier. That is if you are good. John McCain was not in line(up for promotion) to be Rear Admiral, he was not going to be named rear admiral that year. My words as stated are correct. Vague reference about "being on your way" are nothing more than charitable speak on behalf of naval secretary at that time. If you look at John McCain's career, it is a big pile of mediocrity at every stage of his life. Fact of the matter is, Ronald Reagan did not nominate John McCain to be rear admiral nor did the article you mentioned say that he was going to. Being on your way is a nice way of saying "stay put kid".
