This is where the tables turn right here. We had several days near or above 90 last week, and we can already feel the ridiculous humidity starting to build up, so now is when my wife and I are like "We gotta find somewhere cooler to live for the next five or six months". We've actually kicked around the idea of renting a house for 3 months somewhere that has milder summer weather just to try something new.
Im in New England and we didn’t have a single proper snow fall. Not once was the snow on the ground for more than 24 hours.
I'm just on the other side of the river from the twin cities, so we're right on the edge of the Mississippi river valley. We have our share of ninety degree days, and the humidity can be brutal. I would recommend some place not so close to a major river. Ugh, now I'm thinking I should enjoy the snow while I can
Yet you have a shark swimming 30 yards from the shore, and it is a big one based on size of the dorsal. And not only that, the top part of it was bitten off so it hurts, so that is one pissed-off shark! Yep. Coral-snakes, saw palmettos, pissed-off giant sharks. Such a lovely place. Just in time for the melting season, where setting the AC to 85 degrees is comfortable. Hehe. (Just picking on ya'. I lived in Tampa for a few years, I get the whole acclimation to shit like that. Hell, I shouldn't rag about the shark either, because we've had as many if not more shark attacks off the Cape in the past few years than Florida!)
Yep, on the other side of the World and the coolness of Autumn kicked in here on Friday. Same timing as your change in Weather yet opposite Seasons.
Or it is a seal in the mouth of a very large pissed-off shark, hehe. (Didn't think seals swam in warm waters of Florida)
You should try mid-southern coastal Maine in the summer. It is awesome. The only caveat? Brings lots of DEET for the mosquitos. But the red squirrel chatter will make your breakfast feel so rustic, along with watching the lobster fishermen bring in the haul you will eat that evening at the local restaurant.
