Under normal voting conditions if the vote went by party lines the dems would have been short so the house dems decided to essentially change the rules to avoid that vote. It would be bad enough if big brother were enacted according to SOP and being honest with the electorate, but that is not what is happening.

I'm not defensive at all. My trading is a continuing work of art/science. Fact is: I've got (earned) the funds to speculate in the markets and that's all that matters. I didn't get here on my own and you didn't either nor has any of the other loud, obnoxious tea-partiers. You stand on the shoulders of people that came before you and so do I. You aren't an island and you're nothing special: you got LUCKY at birth at the very least. So, in short, shut the fuck up, or start participating in life and the community of life. Or not: leave.

The fact is (as you are pointing out), it isn't the SUBSTANCE of the health care almost-Reform bill that is causing us troubles: it's the manner in which it was conducted. As a long-time Dem, all I can say is: DAMN!!! why can't we get our point across !!! The fact is, this bill is really SMALL in terms of changing the facts of health care in America. People lacking insurance have been paid for by 'the rest of us' in one way or another and this bill makes ALL of us pay SOMETHING. Hopefully this will become apparent in time and the anti-Obama factions will be expoused for the punks that they are.
