That is an undeniable fact. They will keep that promise whether the American people have changed their mind or not, no matter the cost.

  3. "The overwhelming majority of voters" are saying no such thing. There is no 'overwhelming' voice in this entire issue. There are MANY opinions and this bill is the distillation of ALL of these opinions: that's how our gov't works !!!

I guarantee this bill will NOT produce the 'perfect' health system and I guarantee it will NOT wreck the havoc predicted by the LOUD, OBNOXIOUS voices of the right. It is a PROCESS that will continue from now thru the day you die and beyond.

As far as those claiming to 'no longer be American': get the hell out and don't let the door hit you in the ass (too hard). We don't really need you.

  4. The ultimate poll is the polls Americans vote at imo.

The beauty of our system is that we can make changes without blood shed.If the American people truly changed their minds they'll put Republicans in The White house and both houses by 2012 so that they can repel it .

Yep, that's what Coakley though too. You still don't get it, but you will come the 2010 elections. The Dems are already making excuses about their losses. But make no mistake, their landslide loss wont be just about health care, but their totally ignoring the American voter's wishes.

The liberal left did not elect President Obama, the moderates did, and he has abandoned them.

The overwhelming majority of voters are fed up with the way things are being run, you can bury your head in the sand and ignore the facts. Obama was voted in to change the way government operated but it's been nothing but the same usual political B.S. only expounded and compounded with the nightmare of a socialist agenda.

Just like Carter, Obama will not win re-election. I guess we have to go through this every 30 years or so, so the American voter can refresh their memories.

Kindred spirit to the town idioit eh?

It all fits, you liberals are all on meth anyway.

Let's see, we have a $50T future unfunded shortfall in current entitlements, a demographic timebomb, stimulus and bailout debt that will never be paid, so demos solve it all by creating a new entitlement.

It's like the medal ceremony at special olympics in here
