All "truths" (common sense) go through 3 distinct phases: 1. Ridicule and derision 2. Violent oppostition 3. Universal acceptance We've experienced phase 1 in all of its glory. I suspect phase 2 will be coming soon (can't wait for this). Phase 3 will not only secure the current "mild" reform as law but will pave the way for a complete universal, single-payer system.
