I'd even say that people have to be of a certain temperament. If a person is too emotional, he couldn't become a fully logical trader. So, it's better to have a calm attitude to all that happens around and, of course, to have these knowledge and skills you talk about.

I can't agree with you as ability to control emotions is not got by birth. It seems to me that every person can get along with his emotions. As they say... nothing is impossible!

I think understanding of difficulty is the main point here. You have to be ready for solving hard problems, to learn a lot... I trade for 4 months and all I had learned is that I know too little to earn much money yet :) It's hard to cope with but I try not to be desperate. I'm working and working and working... It's like sports for me

Oh.. that's the problem of unavailability to learn from mistakes. Some new people on forex often miss this part (I mean analyzing their own mistakes). They read books and blogs instead. They look for some easy way to earn a million. That's a problem. Such people look for easy money, but here can't be any easy money. Surely, one can test his luck and try to "play" on Forex, but it's only a play

Learning that you need to learn more is one of the best things one can do. Self-awareness is hugely important when it comes to forex trading.

I agree. it's what I was talking above. too emotional people can't sit for hours analyzing what was done. it's not bad... You see... if a person can't understand physics, he won't become a physicist, right? :) the same thing here
