  1. <i>"Hope dealing and stealing is indeed an evil undertaking. Leading the naive astray is a crime particullarly under false pretenses."</i>

So your personal problem is naivete`? That's why you troll anonymous message boards with zero contribution but worthless posts? Well, that's easy enough to solve for ya.

Instead of wasting your time here posting inane crap that in turn wastes everyone else's time trying to avoid it, try this approach starting today:

When the urge comes to enter this website, pull up your chart program instead. Invest 2x the hours you'd have wasted here pouring thru charts in there. Visually back-test everything: indicators, pure price action, combinations of both. Identify key repetitive patterns. Plot their statistical edge over time. There's your entry points.

Spend more time than that analyzing various trade management methods. What's the optimal way to manage trades that suits your personal makeup (such as it may be).

Lastly, spend 10x to 100x those collective manhours working on yourself... i.e. your own emotional weaknesses and pitfalls.

Once you've accomplished all that, you will no longer feel the need to troll any message boards with doom & gloom negativity.

There... your once-stolen dreams have now been correctly restored, replaced with a heavy dose of honest reality.

    Happy charting

  2. No offence old son but you have been the chief chest thumper keeping this thread going. It was dead from the opening post but you didn't notice.

When I first came across this thread I posted here that it was "fantasy meets ignorance and vice versa." It was so naive it was laughable.:p

  3. Hi Everybody,

Sorry I took so long to get back online here. I was at Mardi Gras in New Orleans, and the room I had was at the far end of the hotel and I couldn't get wi-fi service. All I could do was access the internet through my Blackberry. And frankly, I wasn't really in the frame of mind to be posting stuff on ET when I was there! :)

Then when I got back, I was totally swamped and had to catch up on things.

    Anyway....

I created a form for anybody interested in my offer. Just go to the link below and follow the instructions.

    http://www.lookingfortrader.com/

Maybe I'll upload some videos from Mardi Gras too. If you've never been there, it's worth doing once in your life!

    Doug

PS Ignore the part in the video where I say I'm getting ready to go away...lol. I'm already back!

Apparently you failed to notice that, too... or you wouldn't have posted here in this thread six times yourself afterwards. No offense taken, thank you.

I'm not one of the 100 applicants Doug will surely get, but still interested to see how it works out for everyone else.

  5. I most certainly did not fail as the first time I noticed the thread (Feb 18) I posted debunking it. After a trading day and other stuff I only look in at ET from time to time - outside trading hours.
You can take it seriously; I will be relaxing and getting laughs from it.:)

  6. <i>"You can take it seriously;</i> I never took it any other way than indifference. The only people who have ever been passionate about this thread were the naysayers. Indifference = lack of care / concern. Time will promote or expose. Whatever will be will be.

<i>I will be relaxing and getting laughs from it</i> In which case I'd opine you really need to get out more. I've had twice the fun drinking three beers while watching bug zappers do their thing on hot August nights, myself. But to each our own :)

What I heard was "explain this offer I created".

Funny though I've recieved several "solicitations" to trade other peoples money by email recently and I never opted in to recieve such things. Latest one was from FX Dimension. Is this the new trend to control risk or a new wrinkle of a Nigerian Scam?

This will require a commitment of time, if not money. (From Doug Allen's first post.)
Hey, Doug -- I take that to mean that your offer will, at the very least, require a commitment of time and possibly require a commitment of money from the trader. Is that what you meant to say? How much of a deposit will be required?

  10. Hi Trendo,

Just to be clear, a commitment of time will be required. No money is required.

Sorry if I didn't word that very well. :)
